I have to say after the recent coinbet and bitbookk fiascos I am leaning more and more toward using this site to bet. My major issue is that I usually use a computer that does not have my bitcoin wallet on it so it's a pain to go to the wallet computer and send to the new address I get from directbet. But in any case I think that's the best feature, that you don't store any bitcoin.
My suggestion would be to create a web wallet at www.BlockChain.info and fund it with the amount you need for sports betting while away from your computer. You can then use it to instantly transfer bets to us from any computer or smartphone. Think of this wallet as "Your Account" at DirectBet, except that it is much much more safer and under your control. Well I bet form my home computer last night but ok, this sounds like a good idea so I can bet away from the computer. Thanks for the tip. |

You can send directly from the exchange, but if they do not process withdrawals automatically and immediately then it may not be suitable for time sensitive bets. As for receiving the winnings back to your exchange account, I'm not sure how Bitstamp/Bitfinex operate so it's best that you ask them. We will send your winnings to any Bitcoin address that you provide. If there is a deposit address in the exchange that is dedicated to your account and to your account only then it should be fine. |

thanks, sounds good. Everything should work in this case, but I'm going to try if it works doing a minbet  edit: bet was a void, but it works using Finex. |

We've made the following improvement to the Negotiate Odds feature :
From now on, if you place a bet before the start of the event using the Negotiate Odds betting option, and your bet is not confirmed by the time the event starts, your bet will be canceled and refunded at the start of the event. It will not carry over into in-play betting. If instead you placed the bet while the event was in progress and the odds never reached your target, your bet will be canceled and refunded at the completion of the event.
