Quick request, can somebody compile current version of the bfgminer for Windows (preferably 32-bit)?  Github has only source...  Wanted to try it with rockminer, AFAIK it should be now supported.

Thanks!

i try before time to play with this compilations, but without success
better is to wait DEVs to compile

while you wait, you can still try and mine MED

just use

https://github.com/mrtexaznl/bfgminer/releases/download/v3.10.0.1-med/win32-bfgminer-3.10.0.1.zip

start bfgminer with option:  --http-port XXXX

and point your miner to ip:port XXXX   ,  you can use any regular miners soft which support your miners  Wink

seems you don't understand what i'm write you

use your bfgminer 4.4 which recognize rockminer, and point to mod bfgminer 3.10 - started with pool:port, worker, pass --http-port XXXX

where XXXX is port, for example 8332

compiled version supported your miner, don't give you better result - only you will not start additional instance of bfgminer

You were right!  I didn't understand what you said.

And now I understand that all-in-one MED bfgminer can also work as a proxy, and I re-started it with http option, and started another bfgminer instance (4.4 that recognizes rockminer) with the same user/password, but pointing it to localhost port instead of a pool, and voila, it appeared as PXY0 device in bfgminer 3.10.

Too bad the CPU on that machine is too weak, and immediately got to 100% load with rockminer showing about 3GH/s instead of 32GH/s it does on straight SHA256.

But all is good, at least now I can try rockminer on a different machine and see how it performs there.

Thanks!

do you have MED coins in your wallet.dat ?

-if YES - you must wait to sinc wallet qt with your wallet.dat to have access to them
-if NO  -  you can  start fresh blockchain and you will get new wallet.dat and new MED address , where you can receive coins

the only way ive been able to max my cpu is running 6 linux vmware each with one asic feeding 6 different bfgminers. And that way needs constant monitoring it's a huge pain.

do you try ever to install ubuntu and then to play with this , not vmware ?

Yeah same result

the same result like windows , and you can't get over 15 Gh from all 6 devices 15Gh each ?

Thats correct

strange

about your method to use all cores
with one linux vmware for core as i understand , this is maybe the best way for now to use maximum of cpu  Smiley

and from 15Gh normaly, with this method you can mine with 90 Gh on the same configuration?

I would have if I could mine I still cannot get past 15% cpu usage its very strange that it works for everyone else but not me. The only thing that is different is I have to use cgminer to point to bfgminer and this I think is where the problem is for some reason. I have been months without the ability to mine.

I havnt been able to mine in months. The method was running 6 ubuntu vm's with  1 asic per vm and 6 bfgminers running on host os. It worked but a miner would drop every 20-30 minutes so I was always restarting them and with my new job I just cannot monitor them so they have been off until I can find a way to get them stable.

http://med.szbpool.net/ is a live again

this is a good pool, 4 times faster round earnings confirms (30)- other pools have 120

BUT can die just like that, any time , like and happened, just like ibipot.com  before time

....... i will write this again - People please use multipool

Just register on all 3 pools , and add in bfgminer/cgminer
and when first pool die bfgminer/cgminer will switch to second...etc..

don't understand me wrong, my miner switch automatically and i mine without problem   Wink

your miners wasting resource last XX hours

you can also buy cheap MED now , .,.,., Cheers!
