hey everyone! Grindabit is sad to see Seals going down. We know there will be lots of players switching over to Betcoin now, so I wanted to let you know what we have to offer. We have an exclusive deal with Betcoin that allows us to offer a Rake Chase with up to 25% rakeback, and anyone can join! If you want more info, click here: https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=676776.0

This rakeback does not affect any other earnings you get, so be sure to take advantage!

poor form chazley.  Would have expected better from such a long term partner...

Not poor form, you guys totally didnt give any information of relevence in 9 days, then release a page and a half wall of text that basically says nothing.

And they hint that the domain is in danger of being seized yet the new site is also .eu domain instead of .ag for Antigua. If the new seals is gonna do the same, allowing  players from  the illegal  states, WA, NV, NJ, etc., than what is the difference  as far as getting seized? It would be da javu all over sgain, as Yogi Berra would say. Why don't they register a seals domain for Antigua, which last time I checked are available.
So they say no software issue yet they are in perpetual  jeopardy. How can hardware be in perpetual jeopardy? Just move  it to new physical address. This whole thing is very convoluted. The only thing they have done rigth is allowing  withdrawals.  They should come out and say what the problem was.

Its not a gov issue.  Likely during the move to beta, they located a bug where someone on the inside was stealing or leaking info.  They prob couldnt figure out how or who, so gave up on it.

Pretty sure the problem was they were threatened by doj type outfit. Anything else would be possible to overcome. They all live in the states most likely which is why it was a legitimate threat to make them snap fold. Nothing else makes sense. Harder to threaten and prosecute someone living in antigua though.

Sad to see Seals With Clubs go. It appears that player funds are safe at least. We just attempted a cashout, full details here: http://www.bitcoincasino.org/blog/bitcoin-poker-site-seals-with-clubs-closes-bitcoin-not-to-blame

We will post an update once we learn more, hopefully with good news.

Payment just hit the our wallet. I can confirm that withdrawals are working.

Yeah, but that was not the case when we submitted the cashout request just over 12 hours ago, and I promised to give an update and did just that.

Anyway, I think we are all happy that this wasn't just another hit and run in the bitcoin world.

If it was law enforcement it would not have been the DOJ. They have pretty much decided to leave legality  and enforcement to the individual  States as they issued an opinion that the Wire Act does not apply to online poker and seals was not running a casino. It could have been Nevada state action since it was illegal  in NV and was competing with  NVs legalized online gambling. Also Micon lived or was in NV all the time so he was flaunting it.  But how does that make an .eu domain  be in perpetual jeopardy?. Not even the Feds have ever seized an .eu domain and the new domain is .eu instead of .ag. It would have Micon the promoter??? in jeopardy not the foreign domain. An example would be that the feds are after Calvin Ayre but bovada.lv keeps operating.

Bottom line, they need to clarify this because some people believe it was leaked inside info happening and others  believe it was law enforcement. It behooves to clear this up for the sake of the new site. Until they do the speculation will continue and that can be worse than what really happened.

remainder of Seals management team quit
Bitcoins are safe
will start SwCPoker.eu soon
they knew Micon is non-violent, and they knew there was a 2 year-old kid in the house
not charged with any crime
was already planning a family trip to Antigua
