I also meant to add that I and everyone I know who had a balance on Seals received their full balance within roughly 24 hours of submitting a request through the website. Again kudos to Seals for having the competence and trustworthiness to operate this long with this many players and bitcoins going through their servers and never lose any player deposits even despite facing adversity. It's a refreshing change of pace from the Mt Goxes and Full Tilts/UB&APs of the world.

Yup, just connecting with this.  And want to say its obvious.  Micon cares, who knows what the future holds but poker should be played freely amongst citizens, Micon clearly sees this. He's clearly not an angel, but there is sincerity and intent, and we should look to him for true change in this world.

Poker sites are like banks, and this means with success brings malicious attacks from all sorts of competition.

Definitely a bad beat, but at least he wasn't sporting his seals logo thong for the neighbors' sake. While I agree that Micon seems like a pretty chill, non-violent guy, I don't know how outraged you get to be about people exposing your wife and 2-year-old to guns when there were already guns in the house (locked up, I assume).

Some questions about the video:

Micon, it does seem like the NV gaming commission has gotten friendlier over the years, in that you're not presently in a shallow grave halfway to Barstow. I'm pretty much heartbroken.  Sealswithclubs was such a great site: easy to get started, secure, no doxxing, all as anonymous as you please, 24/7, available on android.  It's basically the last man standing from the collection of very early bitcoin businesses.  What am I going to do now?  I guess I'm going to go through this thread and look for info about Micon's project and whatever the hell caused these guys to shut themselves down.

All that said, I still have to give very big respect to seals admins for shutting themselves down instead of waiting until something bad happened---always better to bow out gracefully.  Still, I'm so curious what happened.
