I was mining there off an on, but there was an issue with a delayed payout so I stopped.  I finally got the coins about a day later, so nothing bad, just scared me a bit.  Maybe I'll head back to spread the hash around.

We just need more people to adopt it and take hold of it.  Open a market for goods and services available via FRQ.  With over 300+ alt coins, all created for the sole purpose of miners getting in early, gathering a bunch of coins to sell on an exchange for BTC, what did you expect?

Anyway, there is a new FB giveaway from the fairquarkfans community if anyone is interested.  I guess the fact that individuals from the community are doing more than the devs is a bad sign too.

I agree, actually, it is hard to find any activity of devs,
I understand it is not a good time for all of crypto coins,
But, i wish devs do soemthing more proactively
Actually, the cost of this coin is depend on the devs activity sensitively

Well if anyone lives in South Florida, I sell stuff online via craigslist and backpage occasionally for crypto currencies and FRQ is one of the ones I'll take as payment.  Granted it's mostly junk, but hey if someone wants to give me 125 FRQ instead of $5 USD for computer desk I'm not using anymore, so be it.  At least it's spreading the word about crypto's and FRQ.

If more miners would at least even do something as simple as that, it would help spread interest in the currencies...people are always looking for a bargain.

If the devs were more active, the value could easily be 10x higher, and if they were good at marketing, 100x.
Going higher is in the realm of luck, but 10x is a low hanging fruit if they were showing more motivation.

However, I think it's a good time to be buying cryptos, BTC is cheap, and there is a flurry of interesting coin concepts coming every week, most of them are very cheap at launch, and a small few will be very successful.

Grab and hold a bag of everything that comes out, even if you make a loss on 90% of them, and barely break even on 9%, the 1% that skyrocket can more than make up for huge profits (Auroracoin, yeah!), though it's very hard to predict which will succeed, so just grab them all while they're cheap.

Heck, for the price of a coffee cup, ie. nothing, you can currently get tens of thousandths of FRQ (same for many altcoins), if it stays there, well, you lost nothing, if price eventually goes up 10x you've got a free meal Wink and sooner or later you'll hit a 1000x or a 10000x

The website does not work.
What do you mean? http://fairquark.com still there, the block explorer as well http://finder.fairquark.com/chain/FairQuark, and the network hashrate hasn't collapsed.

Actually looking at the difficulty curve at http://coinz.cryptoid.info/diff/?frq it seems a Quark-algo multi-pool (or large hashrate controler at least) has added FRQ to its list.

I feel very stange about the chaging of hashrate,
The diff is moving between 500~1500,
I feel, this coin need some kind of stable diff (hashrate) ~

Adding something like Kimoto's Gravity Well would be useful.

Yes, when the coin is not shows any improvements or activity,
The miner start to worry this coin is dead or not,
If devs has disappeared, miner start to move to the other coins,
And and, this coin will be dead slowly,

Actually, it is very critical,
Because of there a some quark clone coins are announced recently,
And this coin has lost so much hash to the other coins already,

....
