Much as I admire the sherlocks and their splendid detective work
there´s a saying that keeps popping up somehow
...too many cooks spoil the food...something like that.

They mined over 300 on eligius while they were mining there, this dates back to june. Who says they still mine there? They can be very well mining on another pool now and we dont know it. My point was to prove to you that they in fact were mining on eligius.

I am very confused about how the things are unfolding here. Can someone please clear one of my doubt ?
Even if I assume that this Jason guy or whoever is behind PB mining is running a Ponzi, is he a criminal in the eye of the law, as long as he is paying out ?

Probably not. I seriously doubt that any law enforcement gives a flying fuck about cloud mining services. 99,9% of them probably have never heard about them.

If I had to predict their operation, it would be something like this:
1) Mines from different sources (hardware, cloud, etc...) 2) Dumps all btc earned into main bucket 3) Takes % off as profit (skimming?) 4) Distributes to customer based on per contract hash rate.
Would this still be considered as ponzi?

Apparently it's possible to channel the heat coming off the Geothermic Geysers in Iceland to be used as FREE Electricity for running BitCoin Miners Joking aside the one issue which flags operations as possibly suspect, to my mind at least, are those who offer contracts inclusive of electricity !

and to you, this indicates that PBmining is legitimate and mining all of the coins they pay out each week?

I got paid ... I got paid close to 12 hours later than on previous times, but I did get paid. The payment is lighter than expected by about 8%, but I did get paid.
I would normally reinvest 100% back into PBM ... With no hash power currently available and the disturbing tone of this thread, I am now looking for a new investment option.
What do you people suggest ... Who is considered to be reliable and legitimate ?

PBMining is purely Scam, look at this payout history:
Payout on 2014-11-16 (2339.5 GH/s at Difficulty 39603666252.4): 0.2138679 BTC out of 0.20795672 BTC (lost +0.00591118 BTC compared to alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator)
Payout on 2014-11-23 (2339.5 GH/s at Difficulty 40300030327.9): 0.19793207 BTC out of 0.20436333 BTC (lost -0.00643126 BTC compared to alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator)
Payout on 2014-11-30 (2339.5 GH/s at Difficulty 40300030327.9): 0.18330298 BTC out of 0.20436333 BTC (lost -0.02106035 BTC compared to alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator)
Payout on 2014-12-07 (2339.5 GH/s at Difficulty 40007470271.3): 0.17350634 BTC out of 0.20585777 BTC (lost -0.03235143 BTC compared to alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator)
Surely though they have to make some Profit somewhere ?

It is no profit. Look at it. In general I mean, like over the whole length of a contract, what's in it for them otherwise ?

PBMining is just skimming the payouts and the payout history is the proof!!! No, it's proof of how much they have decided to pay out according to their own methods IRRESPECTIVE of what some other websites might say ...

Good news everyone !
I just got a fax from Interpol.
Jeremy Biggs is not Jason Boyko, he´s in actual fact one John P. Brumpenheimer
the third, a scam artist that has been terrorizing investors for decades now.
He´s into fucking what now? cloud mining? figures, the guy is about 95 years old
now, we gave up looking for him in 1970. so he´s mining clouds with the invisible
magic sky guy. excellent, another cold case closed
wrote John Moore, superintendent.
