Tao, is there any way to see if Kim actually reads that tweet?
I don't think so. Twitter has analytics, but it just shows the number of views, not who individually saw it. There may be third party services that do individuals, I don't know.

I honestly doubt that he is even managing that twitter account himself
people like that have normally an assistant taking care of Social Media Pages
(anyway, that assistant will report, when there are suddenly tons of DRK request coming their way)
we try to reach out to him direct as well

Smiley enjoy bro

https://mega.co.nz/#!o8ZCgI4B!NMLa2t04YsVQYdunC418TTIFlPRDIZjxS1o_x4odAps

if you need anything else, dont hesitate Smiley

thx - I'll be playing with the miner(s) on sunday - just trying to get prepared :-D

Any specific questions, I am happy to answer, btw watch out for anti virus programs disabling sgminer in such as way as you don't get work from the pool but it looks like its working! Overclocking might get you 5% more, I left some tips for Tungfa's friend, points 3 to 6 ?

My Masternode on the pi2 runs silky smooth for almost two weeks now. Received 3 payments so far.
Check out my tutorial if you want the same!

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/masternode-on-raspberry-pi-2-model-b.4083/

PS. I do get a lot of random portscanning which my firewall blocks.

I've knocked up some calculations for Bitcoin if anyone's interested. Also talked about "monetary premium" and quantifying what money is over utility value. (Exoect my favourite funpark analogy - I actually went to a funpark and had some fun (well my daughter did) to research this particular piece Smiley ).

Attention EU Customers: Important VAT Notification

12/30/14 4:00 pm EST

Beginning on March 1st 2015, VULTR.com will apply your applicable VAT rate to your services. Under the new VAT rules being implemented in 2015, the VAT rate charged will be the rate of the country you reside in. For your country of residence, the current VAT rate is 21%. Please make sure your country information is accurate to avoid incorrect rates being applied to your account. If you have a Valid VAT registration, you may enter it on the settings page.
Tip : changing your billing address country from an European country to USA seems to avoid this whole VAT debacle. Specially if you change it before the end of this month on VULTR, this is assuming you pay with bitcoins..

Rux, I don't doubt its clean, what I meant was false positives happen even on totally clean mining software, the anti-virus that did this to all my versions of sgminer was Comodo.

Yer, I deleted comodo but not before it had ruined about 10 working versions of sgminer on the hdd including a load on a backup memory stick!
Thats a good hash rate  btw Grin
For 5850, I had trouble with stability problems on an old mobo, it was fine on its own but when run with R9 290 ,thing would crash, thats why trying the x11mod kernel on pre-release versions instead can help. My best hash speed is about 1.45 meg for that card incidently.

Now that we're on it... Darkcoin has been around for quite a while, and a lot of poo poo did hit the fan, admittedly, and thankfully. What did not break us made us stronger!!

I think its time to make a infographic that quickly reflects current states of affairs, starting 2015.

 a) would make FUDsters mum's feel shame on their own spawn, and spank them accordingly
 b) bring up to speed to the Kim DotComs, Andreas, Snowden, Assanges, Malala Yousafzai's etc etc etc of today
 c) Spot attention to big industry chiefs like Patrick Byrne
 d) General population sensibilisation.

New age of DRK is slowly going up to a boil. It will take a while until new flashy feats come out to even strengthen the project. So we could start dropping "bombs" with what we have right now.

I would love to do this, but of all I know, the least I am proficient in image creation/editing/photoshop/vectorisation, etc... And I am a PR amateur.

We need to kick off 2015 with a full-on PR/MKT campaign.

I propose child_harold as a poster boy  Grin

Cool. I suggest promoting not "What is Darkcoin?" but "Why Darkcoin is better than Bitcoin?"
It should be more effective in 2015.

It did get stuck on 5 confrmation for about a minute. It was my first instantX and i saw the green circle right after i sent it but then i saw it said confirming 5 of 6. About a minute later it turned to a confirmed green check mark.

I still say instantX is too expensive for small amounts. For a $3 transaction it cost 30 cents. Is there some reason that transactions under 100DRK (or even 50DRK) can't be exempt and just pay a regular 0.01 or 0.001 transaction fee?
Somebody tried to explain it to me already but i still don't understand.
Yes because masternodes confirms 5 out of 6, the last one is a POW block confirmation.
I do think that sending 1-10drk a fee 0,1drk for IX is too HIGH.
There should be some "if then" code fee implemented.
Ok cool, so it did get confirmed instantly like it's supposed to, right?
Edit: Minotaur26 just answered my question, thanks

If possible i would like to see the fee lowered to 0.01 (3 cents) for anything under 100DRK. Only reason i can see for not doing it would be that it could cause some kind of spam attack.

The IX Fee is 0.01, which is 3 cents. Darksend has a 0.01-0.1 DRK fee depending on the amount you're sending (because it doesn't support change). So if you use IX+DS it appears much more expensive, but it's really just DS that's more expensive.
