im not saying we should do this, but it was just an idea.
is it possible to rebrand the coin, call it something else, get a other coin logo, remove all the names and just brand it differently, im just wondering.

What for? just in case Anime doesnt work out and people own loads of it. to change it to something which attracts the masses |

Hi,
is there a way to get the network hash rate? the wallet unfortunately always reports a 0 estimate on "getmininginfo",
and most pools don't show an estimated network hash rate either.
I found a formula for PANDA (a now defunct currency) and adapted it. Does this sound reasonable?
Network hashrate = D * 2^24 / BT
D (Difficulty) is (was) 367.82.
BT (block time in s) is 30.
so Network hashrate ~= 205.7 MHash/s.
The pools listed in first posting show some 80 MHash/s when added up. So I think 205 MHash/s might be in the right ballpark.
