It sounds like a good idea to move to a new thread since the OP would need to be updated often.
Just create another profile and move the details and information across also nice work on that list.

We also need a new intro to the animecoin site with an explanation of what the coin is and what its goals are. I'll be modifying what ani-chan wrote so that it is more solid and just has the essentials. Feel free to send suggestions for the new website via the thread. We've also modified the new site, feel free to visit and have a look and tell me what you think.

Good idea, new admin for the thread...Forum rules : why would that be a problem ?  A new profile can start a tread very soon after registration.

Self-moderation would be desirable in the thread.

Majormax, I personaly do not like self-moderated threads. It looks like those scam coins out there. IMO we should keep the unmoderated thread and when the trolls come (and if they come that's a good sign... it means success) we simply put them to ignore

I fired up my wallet and started solomining, "setgenerate true 4" on a 8 core cpu, and set the priority to low using task manager. I can't even notice it's mining, and I'm hitting blocks every hour.
