i still dont get it, mtc is very new coin with very rare information and also OP, no website, no algo introduction....
but it's added to a largest pool for CPU mining just 6-7 hours after release...
is this coin come from one of ypool insider?!

100% invalid shares on ypool
same here for ubuntu usng the linux miner. And i get the same thing using the windows miner on wine. However, my windows box is having all shares accepted. |

yeah me too, hopefully this not like when jh00 talk about doge in pool's faq. hopefully not, 'cause this is a bad joke  Why did you add Dogecoin? Is this a joke?
Since Feathercoin was removed Dogecoin helps us testing and maintaining the Scrypt part of our pool. Usually we are only interested in technically innovative coins.. but we decided to make an exception.
Will it stay? Maybe, maybe not. As long as enough people are interested and LTC has not been launched Dogecoin will be available for mining. |

I think this is the cool side of it, the dev just let it there and the community is picking it. I don't think the dev is related to ypool in any way, but I don't see why it could be wrong if it was. |

mmmh don't think so... 1st it's on ypool, big pool lot of money, u know what i mean? 2nd enormous hashrate and so many workers already 3rd 81 milions of coins it's not too much, not too few, so it's good amount of toal coin... it's bad having so few info about in the OP...on the other side too many new alt-coin had big and supper announcements and never will be on exchange, or so many bilions coins etcetc.. I think this could be a new big stuff!  |

Man... difficulty must be super high already after 2 days? I am running on ypool on my i5 3570k @ 4.4ghz (started mining roughly 24 hours ago) and have only gotten 35 coins.
Is this being gpu mined as well? could this be why?

I noticed going through ypool i got 25. In the same time frame on the same hardware I got 300 solo mining. Something is wrong with their algorithm. |

Thank you for your response. I just hooked up my home theatre pc (forget the cpu but it is pretty crappy... some AMD 1.5ghz chip with 2 core) to mining this as well... I got roughly the same khash rate on the htpc that I did on my [email protected].... something is up with ypool... Just loaded up the solo miner on the i5. Will report back with the results. Thanks for your help. |
