ETH will change the consensus this year from POW to POS, and POS's performance promotion of POW is also a volume level. I believe ETH will have a good performance this year.
This conversion has been in talks for many days, but till now there is no specific update from the team. Whether it is a long process that's why are taking a long time, it needs a lot of coding to convert from POW to POS? I guess this it not about coding, rather then it sticks to their plan. Atm VGA manufacturers tend to specialize to make mining cards, also Bitmain planning to release their ASIC for ETH etc. There is a nice industry behind it and a lot of people are involved of mining. If ETH would switch from POW to POS it will loose a lot miners. They will start to mine other coins and sooner a later there would be a new no1. coin to mine. ETH will switch to POS when its became number 1 crypto. |

Not true, Vitalkik isnt a Supporter of Asic Miners. i red that if ASICS will be available for ETH, ETH will switch to POS and drop an POW Bomb to make it not possible to calculate the next Block with ASICS |

hey guys im new to ether, i sent some ether from my exchange to my desktop wallet but its not showing up.
i checked the block explorer and it says its in
my wallet also seems to always be stuck with 65 blocks left and at 99%
any help would be appreciated thanks

If they pull it off, great. Recently, Vitalik had mentioned somewhere that transition will happen in two months. |

I did not expect such a strong fall of Eth. I hope Vitalik something to come up with to stabilize the course of at least a little. It's wrong that Eth is so dependent on bitcoin. This vicious connection must be broken.

No ETH is not dying and I don't think ETH will ever go below $100. If eth goes below 500 it will be the best opportunity to buy ETH. |

All my mining rigs are fully utilized, I have an HP ENVY i7 laptop Not too much to write home about, but before PoS becomes fully integrated I want to use it for mining as I bought a MacBook pro which I am using now, Any comments would be appreciated...

Don't look at so called analysts but use your own mind for decision taking on anything. Ethereum will be second most effective market after Bitcoin continuously and has no immediate danger from any market. Just see its usage level and projects depending solely on Ethereum before even thinking any project having few ICO's can replace it. It isn't going to happen in couple of years at least.
Analysts like to panic. The facts show that most projects are launched on the Etherium platform. Many platforms are already making their smart contracts, but these projects still need to catch up with the popularity of Etherium. Etherium, too, will not stand on the spot, there is a constant development of the platform. And even if analysts panic you don't know whether they do it because they think the market will dive or whether they do it to buy cheaper. I know that Etherium is gaining momentum and is becoming more popular. The team is constantly improving Etherium in technical terms. Many projects will soon launch their product on this platform. I also know that Eth has grown very much in a year. The entire market also grew sharply. Now there is a correction of the market. A year ago the Eth token cost $ 20. |
