I was predicting a slide to continue but there is now news that the BTC and Eth etf's are going to be approved.  So out come a big bull and is buying up the BTC. Im sure the more people that hear about the etf the more the market will sustain the change. I was hoping for 50 dollar eth but now that's probably not going to happen. Now it appears the bottom has already been touched. Those with guts I think now is the time to buy.....

Ignoring the ETF, i think Ethereum price will rise in the upcoming days because of Ethereum hardfork on 25th of February. Ethereum has a good future because it will be moving from POW to POS and this will really help the coin grow.

Can't ignore ETF because if ETF approve then price will skyrocket like last time but don't know when it will happen!

I thought that eth will break support line $100 then i will buy few eth but again price rising, i think i should buy at this point.

Investors usually hesitate to buy at dips, or even when price falls.

OK, so who you're going to blame for missing the deadline? Vitalik? This ETH project is one of the most decentralized projects out there, with devs wanting to work on their own will. The ethereum project has succeeded in getting the most Github commits in 2018, even if they're missing a deadline for some reason, you can't blame the devs!

Let's take a look back at bitcoin case.
There have been so many debate over years to scale up the bitcoin network.
What's happened?
Delays from time to time, changes made very slowly over years with so many debates and delays.
Please, keep calm and wait for the Ethereum upgrade with your patience.
Patience will help you earn profits in crypto, whilst impatience will force you make wrong decisions and lose your money.

That's what I was saying. In the very end, it'll prove to be good for Ethereum network (and ETH holders).

I'm also confused but what I've read with articles, they are indicating that it will happen on February 28. Well it's just 3 days away so I wouldn't worry if it will happen by 25 or 28 of February.

The long journey takes a lot of time to finish.
I believe that some day Ethereum will set its new all time high, but not in coming days, or even till the end of 2019.
Ethereum has to rally partially over time, with corrections along its pathway like bumps on the road.
Additionally, Ethereum can not reach its new ATH if bitcoin won't rally to around $20.000.
Bitcoin is a backbone of crypto world, and Ethereum is a backbone of startup ecosystem, by now, but they have a mutual relationship.

I can't understand why people devote so much attention to ETFs? There are a lot of biggest important things coming in crypto. For example Fidelity going to launch platform for custody service and trading crypto accests. They are operating 7.2 trillions usd. And this is a huge money in comparing with current crypto cap.

Exactly it's not a hard task for ETH to achieve in next few weeks it need to get recover much faster and there is big chance for it. If BTC will start moving in upward direction than it could make this possible much earlier than our expectations because this ecosystem is almost ready to explode.

I second that. In addition, whales are picking up eth prior to the hardfork just to be on the safe side and gain some sweet % on their portfolio

Never say never. Ethereum has not pleased us much in the past, in 2019 I believe that Ethereum will cross the border of $ 200. What we believe in, we end up with.

Of course, there are probability for it, but it is very low.
Bitcoin, itself, has to struggle to surpass $4.2k, hence it will have specific effects on altcoins, and ETH definitely will be affected.

I think bull run won't happen anytime soon, Bitcoin halving is far way, Most probably we'll see big price movement late 2019. until then keep buying or hodling.

Because of the institutional money. They are not coming in until than and I totally understand them. Can you imagine now some hedge fund or whatever to buy Bitcoin on current crypto exchanges available to include it in their portfolio? It's quite hard for them to have it legitimately buy it.

That's why ETF. When you will be able to buy and sell ETF of cryptos on traditional markets, the institutional money will indirectly enter the market. And that money could be huge.
