Hello - I have an MSI R9 270 which I flashed with the wrong BIOS.  I ended up jumping the 1 and 8 pins on U111 so that the PC could recognize the card and proceeded to flash the correct BIOS.  However, the BIOS flash did not write.  I have tried "atiflas -unlockrom 1" and I get the notice "ROM Unlocked."  But when I try to re-flash the card, it doesn't stick.  A picture paints a thousand words, here's my situation:

As you can see, the PC recognizes both R9s, but the second one fails to write BIOS.  I can re-flash card 0, but not card 1.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Did you backup the old bios? If you still have it. Might try and re-flash using the old bios.

Also try this from the command prompt. I don't think you need the newbios switch.

atiflash.exe -f -p 1 test0.rom
