Today Liverpool deserved that loss to be honest. They had big problems for a really long time during the match. But still they were nearly stealing a point at Stamford Bridge.

However Estêvão saved his team in the last minute. I predicted a 2-1 Liverpool win in the pool which was quite optimistic of course. This is the 3rd loss in a row in official matches for them. Arne Slot had better return stronger after the international break.

I don't know what quality is these days but this is the best I've had since the WCC final; I didn't think we'd survive this Liverpool attack without any of our starting CBs and our best creator ( Palmer) but the boys did.

I also did not think Chelsea would. The suspensions and injuries were piling up leaving you guys with inexperienced players and then you go on to lose 2 CBs during the match. At this point the team needs to have conversations about the injuries and how they can be prevented.

I really, really like how you guys went for the win until the very end. I expected they will sit back and take a point, giving the circumstance and the opponent, it is not a bad result. The risk paid off and massive 3 points for Chelsea. Now I hope you guys lose the next game.

I was also happy with the 2-1 result, until I checked my prediction and saw 1-1, haha. Then I remembered why I picked 1-1 – I was sure Liverpool would drop points, but I didn't think they could "handle" a third defeat in a row. And yes, with so many goals conceded, Liverpool have no chance. Bookmakers now have a strong belief in Arsenal:

Liverpool FC - 3.50

Everything is still normal for me, the main thing is that City doesn’t show up at this party.

I thought a draw for these 2 teams. Liverpool can score goals, Chelsea can do 50/50 sometimes great sometimes shit, so them winning at home was probably more of a diceroll than deserved. But that's from me reading reports and stats not watching

Liverpool will perform though, they are better when people count them out.

Caicedo finally looking good is good for everyone and good for football. Shame about many more Chelsea players not doing anything tho... that squad is too packed.

It's fascinating to see what Chelsea has achieved, given their current situation, especially in defense, which is quite weak due to sanctions and injuries. However, their defense can still be considered solid for now, even though they managed to get 3 points, which I didn't expect (because I predicted a draw).

Liverpool is currently facing some issues, which is quite rare considering Liverpool's condition under Slot in the last two seasons. I think this is the first time Liverpool has suffered three consecutive defeats in all competitions CMIIW.

This needs to be addressed immediately because although it may have been considered acceptable before, the continuing series of defeats is now making the situation a little complicated for Liverpool.

  Week 7, the previously unbeaten team finally suffered a defeat as Crystal Palace was beaten by Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

No Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Nottingham forest threats this season for the top 4 position so I guess it'd be easy.

Yep, PL is highly competitive - there are always teams ready to take advantage of the occasional slip-up from teams at the top of the table.

This year Bournemouth really looks like a team capable of fighting for European spots, so does Palace.
Villa and Newcastle still have decent teams, at least on paper, so I would not discard them just yet. They had a slow start to the season but surely have the quality to bounce back.

Looks like it's going to be an interesting season - hurts to say as an LFC fan but Arsenal looks better than we do so far this season. I'd put them as top favorites for the title in this point in time.

I find it interesting you will put Villa ahead of Palace. Palace have been the best performing dark horse team so far this year. Losing Eze does not look to have weakened them, same thing when they sold Oliseh. It is a shame they are not in the Europa league.
Playing in Europe is the one thing they should struggle with this season, they are not used to playing so many matches.

I will be worried if he had a recurrent knee or ankle injury or a muscle tear, but not a shoulder injury. I expect he will be given ample time to recover now from this injury to the knee to avoid it recurring.

Yeah and we got -2 GD as well while Sunderland is on +1 GD, pretty bad for us but I guess we'll be picking up scores from here. Sesko starting to score now so thats a relief because Im kinda scared that he might ended up like Holjund. Lammens was quite decent on his debut but overall he is better than Bayindir so thats also reassuring for us

Dude is on fire but I don't think his goals can get Man city any trophy this season because the team isn't balance. For now he's just chasing individual stats which is good for him. 7 games and 10 goals contributions that's impressive (9 goals and 1 assists). He could easily exceed 30 goals this season if he continues at this rate.

Yeah it'll just be a rumour, I can only think of Real Madrid going after last two season's Rodri not the current one. The hype is gone and I don't think he can become half of what he once was again. The injuries got him so bad and would only flop if Real Madrid comes for him.

Pfff. Fabrizio often has information, yes. But he's been caught numerous times in completely unfounded PR campaigns using fake "leaks." If this info worker enters the game, then, on the contrary, you need to be 10 times more careful. In the situation with Rodri, I am confused by the fact that Perez praised him when Vinny was robbed, i.e. there is some basis for believing that Real Madrid has an interest. But otherwise it looks illogical and incomprehensible.

Im not liking the end of the last season on Premier League and this start, until now we are just seeing "short" results in the mayority of the games and we are not longer seeing the ussual Premier League results which were the 3-1 or over when a "good" team faces a "bad" team, now everything is 2-1/2-0 and is sad because we already have that in other leagues but not here.
