News: Due to a wallet-migration bug, you should not upgrade Bitcoin Core. But if you already did, there's no need to downgrade.

I have a lot of rejected mint attempts but some get through ; I wonder if this will improve in the next update and hardfork .
I'm still minting but it looks not efficient with so many rejects

Check and double check your spam for coins4everyone.com emails, all of mine so far have gone there.
This launch seems to have gone flawlessly on coins4everyone.com at least, I was able to connect and mine from the outside and payments are coming through to my wallet extremely quickly and with 100% success so far.
Selling Mintcoin if anyone is interested.

By the law of supply and demand, I believe that if the amount of coins produced decreases and the demand remains the same, the price will increase. Let's hope the increase in demand

No, you'll need to open it once every 20 days. That's the time your coin piles will take to mature and be ready to stake again.

Anyone have any suggestions how to get this coin "rebooted" again?   There seems to be little to no activity other than hold and collect more coins.  This seems detrimental to the coin at this point without and liquidity and coins changing hands.

Hey, hoping someone can help, would be appreciated.

I'm trying to restore an old wallet from 2014 using wallet.dat with latest github version of mint wallet, i.e. importing wallet into fresh install.

Balance and transactions display from old and I am able to unlock using password, all good there.

The problem I'm having is getting an active connection to the network. I have followed two sets of config instructions (the difference being node addresses) and am yet to get connected, so no syncing. The debug logs show repeated connection timeouts. Any ideas?

Edit - Am using latest bootstrap from May 2018.

- no firewall setting is blocking your connection?
- starting sync may take some time - within 30min you should get a connection
- have a look at these pages for conf help or adding nodes:

You can play around other coins but take mint as a personal project. Put your entrprenural ability to test even if it's just for fun. Remember every coin you hear of today was done by a group of people who stake their monies, time and energy in hope for g
