We are sticking with MintPal for now. Our merchant platform needs to calculate an exchange rate to show prices in USD/fiat. Therefore it makes sense to direct all users to one exchange in effort to make the price per aricoin more stable.

Altho I agree it will make the value of a coin more stable, using only 1 exchange it also makes market manipulation very easily accomplished. I am a member of a lot of exchanges, (I am going to use bitcoin as an example) for the proof of stability a coin will have using only 1 exchange we can watch if BTC is valued at 500 dollars on cryptsy, and 498 on bittrex on CEX.io it may only be 480 but in real time in your wallet the actual value is only 468 to 477. so you see various exchanges have different values based mostly on their volume of trades in their respective exchange but the overall value in our wallets takes many exchanges and gives you an average.

Unfortunately tho as I myself have done a few times on lower respected exchanges like coinswap and justcoin you can easily move a market yourself when a coin is only on one exchange with very little BTC purchasing power. I have made a lot of profits on coins in lower level exchanges by manipulating the price for a coin in my favor with a mere 0.001 BTC buy.

If your old OLY wallet doesn't sync, check if it is set correctly. In my case I created olympiccoin.conf with the nodes mentioned and it synced immediately. Then I transferred coins to new ARI wallet.
