Luck is not the issue here. To get a proper p2pool we need the good parameters and a lot of MH/s. VTC p2pool is above 200MH/s, and that's good. Anyway there is an issue here the share parameter window is too high here, that prevents us to do coins switching when the difficulty is updated. (*24 is too high, I think *4 is OK...).
And to get a lot of p2pool nodes we must avoid confusion.
Ahh now you tell the real issue you have with the settings. I highly suggest you go with traditional Pool if you want to often switch Coins. Thats not the typical Scenario P2Pool was designed for. Also the whole switch+mine+dump mentality makes me really sick. Im into cryto for profits too but not at all costs!! Imho just look at VTC to see what this does to a very promising looking coin. Anyways if you want to discuss this further join IRC #p2pool-panda or PM me, no reason to Spam the whole Thread with our P2Pool issues.

You will lost a lot of GPU power, dead on arrival may be very high. And most pools use now PPLNS, too avoid switch at the block level, here it makes senses, the block value is random like doge, mining a block close to 1 is worthless... Anyhow I don't think you expect this coin to be over doge in the long run. Don't you?

Nobody will know what will happen. And spamming that Panda will fail will not change it's fate. In case you dont remember, Doge, too, was being trolled heaviliy on the release. People where calling it Jokecoin, stating that it's investors and miners where stupid, that it was nothing more than a Ponzi Scheme and a Scam. And look where's it is now. It's a cycle. When a new coin become popular and start threatening other coins, their community become scared and spread FUD.

I have 3 280's. about 1 mhsh on cgminer. 5000 coins for 2 days @ 1 mhsh? that aint right man. I'm not trolling shit bro I know there are some others mining this trying to find the right pool. just throwing in my 2 cents.
OK that sounds pretty bad if it's true. My apologies if you aren't trolling - this thread has attracted a lot of negativity so expect some hostility if you're making unsubstantiated assertions. Back to the pools, I've had no probs with United-Miners. Sure the K/hs amounts and payout estimates are a bit off but hey, most pools I've found are the same. If you average out the highs and lows it does seem reasonable though. For example, although I've sold off my mining rigs I do a little mining with a single, paltry 7970 and I've been averaging around 14K coins/day at the current difficulty. Have you emailed support at the pools that weren't working for you? This stuff can be resolved pretty easily by any techy worth his bacon. Also, why on earth are you mining PND? You know that's a parody right? Have you actually sold any? Is it listed on any exchanges? C'mon bro, get a grip. (bit of a necro on this subject, sorry all) \ Here's the thing man, i really don't pay much attention to estimates unless after 24 hrs of mining something is way off. like 900 coins in 24 hrs. if you do the math it doesn't make any sense no matter what you plug in or how far you move the decimal point. I had the same problem mining doges, people think because they are getting a decent payout that they are not getting screwed but if you switch a few times and find a good pool that's when you realize just how bad you got hosed. This kind of crap has to stop if crypo's are ever going to evolve. I wasn't trying to be a dick and binary clock is a good dude so who knows maybe its something with the server i dont know, I just go by what i'm putting in and what i'm getting out, if it's close than i'm cool but if it's obvious and painfully low then i get pissed. i think the only way to keep pools honest is to spread the word. as far as that other panda coin i could care less, i mine every new coin for a few hours just to pile them up in case it takes off later. doesn't everybody? I think it's partly your fault for not checking and switching I check my estimates and confirms regularly, if something isn't right, fix it United-miner's estimates have been pretty good so far, the only problem with it and dedicated is that they get quite a bit of downtime from attacks Smaller pools usually are safer

why does the main coin page link to forechan? I don't want to invest in a coin run by a bunch of pedos and racists . . . Is this the kind of community we're supposed to be a part of ? Maybe I'll invest in Stablecoin instead, it's poised to make a comeback

everyone please thank sevoque for doing a wonderful job in this thread... I can't think of anyone else who could handle such a large group of trolls so professionally. <3 to all the hard work all the pool admins have put in as well. We were the most attacked coin EVER, and we continue to persevere. I am proud of this.
