I dont think its a question of deserve so much as being paid for the contribution to the dev team. You know in real life when you employ people to do a job, you remunerate them for their efforts for that task they are being asked to complete. Pandawest helped with windows related dev work, i took care of all community facing duties, and continue to do so.

What the scammers don't realize is that when regulation does come and it eventually will without doubt after Gox goes belly up is that they are going to have to pay the piper, they have left so many digital footprints it will be easy for the authorities to track them down, some people are going to serve some serious jail time. I don't see what's the problem with Wolong calling people greedy. Many of us are/were greedy and decided to mine and support pandacoin before it all fell apart. People's attitude towards the coin and devs took a complete 360. There was a lot of people warning that this was going to be trouble due to 3% premine. I'm one of those that let greed get to me, and I faced the consequences of losing 0.4 or so BTC. Hence why I said ~$300 in one of my previous posts once you factor in electricity. Ya it's not much compared to some of what you guys lost, but greed is greed.

I think you are going a little too far there:

I'm personally open to any suggestions that in theory could work, but please know one thing,I PERSONALLY have little authority over what can actually happen given that it is Jacob and Artis who are the core devs and would need to agreee between themselves.

We are obviously distraught that all the hard work, time and effort we have put in was seemingly sabotaged in the window of a few hours and would love to find a way to move past it and regain the community trust.

Right there he's saying that he wants to find a way to fix things, which implies that he hasn't found a way yet, and he says that it's not up to him anyway. That's clearly not promising success. (I would agree that it was awfully self-centered, but that wasn't your criticism.)

OTOH, [-Warlock-] / JacobUX did promise back up to 500 satoshi. That wasn't Sevoque, though.

What I don't understand is this:

So why is Sevoque still around? When will he walk away? What is the "this" that he will walk away from, if not the entire project?

Sevoque has been here in this thread constantly having to defend himself because some of you people don't get it. he doesn't deserve to take the heat because wolong decided to fuck the coin. and personally if i were him i would stop responding to you idiots. wolong is solely responsible for the failure of this coin.

i went to bed making money and woke up losing it and it has nothing to do with sevoque selling some coins. the moment wolong started playing his games, is when the coin shit the bed.

lets review

1. coin launches perfectly

2. community starts to form and its fun and profitable

3. solid value, adaptive-n, KGW.

4 in steps wolong. he throws a hissy fit and gets sand in his vagina

5 coin plummets

6. coin dead.

anyone with fucking eyes can see the dev team did exactly what was asked of them. and did it fairly well. wolong broke the momentum and essentially alienated the people he needed to make the most happy. the investors.

as for the dev team. start working on a new coin. this coin has shit rubbed all over it and you are not gonna get the stink off.
