I know I am not one and Ive given up trying to get the wallet to synch after 5 hours on here and asking in the chatroom (IRC) so just maybe there really is a problem with the wallet?? I figure I will just watch and wait until the problem is fixed. Too many people complaining for it to be bunkum.

I am on windows 8 ...does the OS make any difference?

the wallet takes a couple of min to sync and see the icon spinnning.  if it is not doing it then it is setup wrong. i went thru many hours on the panda v2 wallet then finally figure it out. the main prob is the pandacoin.conf file not put into the pandacoin folder INSIDE appdata folder.  if you dont do it, it will never sync.  there is a pandacoin folder inside APPDATA folder.  dont forget to add the nodes first. and save as "all files" so you can save as .conf  if you do not, it will save as .txt and it will not work!

Exit the wallet
Type %appdata% in explorer window
Look for PandaCoin folder
Creat a text file named PandaCoin.conf
Open it in Notepad

after i finally read like i was suppose to everything works for panda v2, and of course panda v3 is the same thing. they all the same

The rumor you just pulled out of your ass?  All my balances are fine on DOGE Nyan PND and BTC, and there's no virus hits from scans on the wallet.  Feel free to even link us to the "rumors".

I'm on Windows 8.1 and have no problems syncing. I only have

addnode=178.32.175.227

added to my pandacoin.conf file. I don't know if it makes any difference but I have the pandacoin.conf file both in the wallet folder and in C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Roaming\PandaCoin.
