@TheCryptoRush: PND offline for maintenance as per developers request. Take yours down too, it isn't just us. Check the #OfficialPandacoin IRC for updates. @MintPalExchange: We've suspended deposits & withdraws for PandaCoin (PND) at the request of the developers whilst they work on a patch for the client. Is there some issue with blockchain? Yes. Someone tried to make use of one exploit in kgw which created a fork. An update is pushed to https://github.com/pandacoin-official/pandacoin which should prevent such attacks in the future starting from block 71000. Updated wallets will follow shortly. Which fork? Where are my blocks (66973 - 67113)? http://dr-nona.office-on-the.net:9444/static/ The one that got created at around 5am CEST. I thought only my pool ( bamboohouse.info) picked it up.

Otherwise I would have given notice and the update earlier. @sawa Thank you for providing a p2pool instance.

Regarding the upcoming rebrand, there have been two options that stood out and I would like to hear some more opinions on the matter. A serious looking submission:
| The more lighthearted approach:

The first one is more like a coin. The second one is more internationally friendly.

Not sure I am looking at the right designs, is this the bottom one? looks nice, but I can't find the top one offhand to see it properly. http://imgur.com/vjtAKoJ

Does anyone know what is wrong with panda-mine.us; are they still on 1.5.4? Confirmations are not happening, all stuck on 48- 49 left.

Would it be possible to move this coin to Scrypt to X11? More GPU friendly and consumes less energy. That could be a good selling point of this coin.

It appears as they are on the wrong blockchain. Would it be possible to move this coin from Scrypt to X11? More GPU friendly and consumes less energy. That could be a good selling point of this coin.
How is it more GPU friendly? As long as the algorithm doesn't max out the usage of the GPU this is only a gimmick until someone with a patched miner comes along. Apart from that we're currently looking at integrating PoS which is way more GPU friendly than any other hashing algorithm seeing as it doesn't use the GPU at all.

No I did try to email them about the fork but never heard back, even visited their chat room a couple of times hoping to catch someone. Had to pull my worker off, too bad that was my favorite pool, just cant reach them now
