You don't understand point of low inflation.
Other coins have HIGH inflation LTC now 20%... BTC 20%...Mint 20%...Zeit 25%...BTC 10% so.. and.... BC 1%  by inflation i mean new coins on market.
Which coins do you think will go up in long run aganist BC if bc will grow a bit over time?
Do you relize that LTC,Mint,Zeit,Doge need a lot of BTC to maintain high price while BC need 1% in YEAR !!!!

Excellent point. I think the problem right now is the psychology that people have towards such a low inflation rate. They think, oh I'll get less coins from mining! I'll lose! But really their coins hold their value. Once people see that then they will see that Blackcoin is a good investment. It could soon become one of the most stable coins.

This is why I suggested variable interest.

8 hours = 1% rate (current)
1 day = 2% rate
1 week = 3% rate
1 month = 5% rate
6 months = 10% rate
1 year = 20% rate

Everyone wins. Those interested in high rates will have the option to invest for the long haul. Most people wouldn't hold their stash untouched for longer than week anyway, so the entire supply would average out to probably a mere 2% rate in the long run, which might as well be nothing. And then us early birds wouldn't given a free interest raise, as we would still have to hold a long time (compared to how long this coin has been out) to earn it - just like anyone else. It would be the most fair way to implement any changes, imo.

Increasing flat out to some high rate I totally agree should in no way be done. For your reason, and also for the reason it would just put a bad image on the coin in the long run.
