Price continues down. 660 now. Ouch.

I'm going to pulling any BC I have off the exchanges later today. The exchange itself may be using its pending supplies to short manipulate the price down, because it certainly wasn't profitable to mine this even on the second day at 650 satoshi. I can't find much reason for anyone who mined to be selling it this low when the mining investment period was so short. Either that, or someone is just trading a supply back and forth down the offers.

I will throw in one final average down offer somewhere between 300-500. After that I'll just claim 100% loss, leave my wallet open to gain PoS on all the BC I own, and forget about checking the price. Tongue

Selling now would be like selling a 70 billion coin on 0.5 satoshi.

Of course. Things have to look hopeless to shake out as many as possible before they can get good. BC lacks daily maintenance, even less so than QRK did before it had a 3000% rise. But QRK was pretty much looking dead for many, many months before that happened. Now QRK happens to be relevant because of that rise. That's why I keep saying, don't expect anything for a while. These whales need a lot of time to accumulate at low prices before it's even worth bothering for them to push high. You're not going to see it by looking at the top 100 either as they aren't stupid and spread it out over plenty of wallets to stealth hoard.

It's going to go lower.  Don't expect a turnaround (if any) for the next month or so.  It's going to take awhile for the miners to dump the coin.  Basically, they're are admitting defeat and selling at a lost.

What do you guys think of this?:

Why only 1% interest a year? That is not attractive!

Well, actually it is. BlackCoin needs very little upkeep to keep the market price at the same height. Let's say the price of BlackCoin is stable around 5000 Satoshi's, with the 1% compound interest a year you would need around 0,1 BTC a day to keep the price at the same level.

To explain this better we need to pull out a calculator:
1% of 75 Million = 750.000.
If we take this 750.000 and divide them up on a day to day basis (365 days in a year) we would get 2054 new coins a day. To keep the price the same 0,10 BTC would be needed daily. If someone would put in 100 BTC the price would rise by the amount of coins available divided by 99,9 BTC.

If we compare this to other popular Altcoins, like Litecoin or Dogecoin you would need 1800 BTC a day to keep the price level for Litecoin and 576 BTC a day to keep Dogecoin's price level.

This means that BlackCoin is a very good store of value. See it as gold in the age of crypto currencies.

This may sound radical but it will work:

Everyone needs to pull all of their BC out of the exchanges.
Do not put up any buy orders above 500 satoshi and dont put any sell orders at all.

Now the whales can buy all of their BC for real cheap and can pump the value sky high! They will only do this if there is something in it for them, so lets give them their opportunity. It may be our last hope.

Everyone stop buying coins until we are down to 500 sats. We need to get rid of those noobs bashing our coin, but trying to ride our waves. We will buy them ultra cheap and then pump this coin to orbit.

The rich just got richer. The limit for top 100 richest went up to 121k.

http://agran.net/bc_getbalance.php?top=5000

Opposed to most of the other coins, this one can't me mined anymore, therefore the supply of new freshly mined coins to be dumped by profitability miners is nonexistent. The coin has much more room for price increase than drop. I finally made it into top 100, thanks to people selling at 800ish and 750 today, all in now. Will not sell. Hodling!

The top holder of BC is actually moving it out.  You can see the decrease.  If he/she is dumping, the price will fall even more.
