I think that PoS interest raise will influence market move in a small increment.

This coin is for those, who are investing at long term.

what is wrong with those guys, who sells so low. Ridiculous!
......
off.

What does everyone think?

This game with low inflation is a bit illusion.
Just imagine that you are in place of time when you put all LTC on market in 10 days what will happened ?
No imagine that LTC=BC... We have similar situation.
Of course price drop at beginning market need time to absorb that amount you see how hard is keep price of BTC/LTC they can crash hard.
Just bad news no one want buy new BTC/LTC price falling also people are sell in panic.
when money are not flowing into exchanges those coins have trouble.

...
Almost all of those "shit coins" will lose value over time to BC or BTC why ?
While now you need 0.005 BTC daily to keep price of BC if noone sell it below certain price price wont go down unless someone really need money.
High % rate is illusion ofcousre you will get more coins but they will lose value overtime 20%...
1% inflation needs 0,005 BTC day to keep price POS system
20% inflation needs 0.1 BTC day to keep price POS system
Now POW systems look: 650 NEW BTC day no new $ on market price is tanking
Now POW Doge look it needs ~250 BTC/day to eat all Doge no BTC price go down...
Multipools and GPU farms don't wait to get better times.

Sec i will write about HBN.

You have a couple misunderstandings of how this works. Let me make it a bit clearer, as your questions are fairly common: First of all no, you do not need to be running your wallet continuously 24/7. You could unlock it for minting once once a month, collect your interest based on the age-weight of your stake, and close the wallet. Note that unlocking is a 'mint-only' command, meaning transfers out from your wallet will still require a password. Just encrypt the wallet, open it when you wish, sync, unlock and stake for a few hours, collect interest. It's that simple. The only advantage to frequent or constant minting is that the tiny amounts mature and become viable for stake themselves - hence compounding of interest. Hope that helps clarify.

thanks, yes that clarified a lot for me.

(*) something like that explanation should become part of the wallet client!  Took quite some time to find this info.

more questions:

(*) now I have unlocked the wallet, with
Code:
walletpassphrase PASSWORD 9999999999 true
Does it need to be renewed when I close and reopen the wallet? Is there a chance to make that persistent?

* Before I didn't use that command, but the wallet was not encrypted. Still, no Stake incoming, for ONE WEEK now!
So the 7 days in which my wallet contained coins are useless, just because it wasn't encrypted?

* You should consider to make the stake earning completely automatic. Or have a button press solution (like with the mining tab in some qt-clients).

I guess the price for BC also fell so much, because some people were simply disappointed that their balance didn't increase at all.

* Is it really only 1% per year?   I could have made so much more, just by selling my BC in the right moment :-(

I am keeping all of my BC still, I really want to see this working.

No problem, glad to help. Don't worry about the period where you did not get a stake. When they do stake, the payout on coins owned will reflect the age weight from day-one of when they landed in your wallet, or since whenever they last staked. On your other question, yes, the wallet locks again on closing and you need to re-enter the command. I would not recommend leaving your wallet open perpetually in the un-locked state. I need to go back and re-confirm this, but I may have been mistaken that it is a mint-only command - this means coins may indeed be able to be sent from your wallet WITHOUT re-entry of your password! Some PoS clients include a separate program purely for staking, but as of the present release ours does not. Therefore, please exercise caution and certainly do not leave your wallet unlocked and unattended on an ongoing basis. And don't forget to delete your unlock command from console history after unlocking - I've said this before and gladly repeat it.

HBN is easy now to keep price just because they started with low amount on market but it will rise and how Cheesy look
________________________________________
Look wee will look in 10 days periods with HBN:
2.5min HBN existed in January / now 3.27
(TODAY 3.2) >http://162.217.249.198:1080 / "good advice investor amout 2.5m in january" https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=406112.0

I will start from 2.5m

2 500 000 * 2% = 50000 HBN every 10 days
+POW 5*0,5*60*24*10=36000 HBN 10 days

50000+36000 = 86 000 new coins / 10day >8,600/day
8600 Day * 0.00019136 = 16.4 BTC day Oo ( BC same time 0,005) Tongue

_________________

In year you have 365 Days so it will be 36*2%(every 10days) it will be over flat 100% year inflation + POW coins 365*3 600 = 1,3 m
(will be more POW+POS mix will do job) so you can count 250% HBN inflation this year Cheesy....
End every next 100%+
Do you want invest more in HBN ?
In short time is perfect in long run i don't suggest you to do that.
_________________

In beginning it looks perfect low amount of starting HBN money needed low amounts of BTC to maintain price.
All were happy and get big +income in thirsts months.
Today they need 16.4 BTC to keep price
Next year same time about ~37BTC...
2nd year ~80 BTC
Gues what will happened when they don't get those BTC ? same what with Doge,LTC,... ramp down.
Which market can eat 100%+ inflation EVERY YEAR.
I don't know how long party with HBN will be continued but for sure it is limited time only IMO...
When some investors realize that "no one" want join party and BTC river run out they all will be deep in shit Cheesy

Remember BC is 1st POW>full POS on crypto no one really know what will be price of BC in long therm but i have good feeling
that is why i am in.

So who is up for adding to a 2btc bounty (pref kept by Soepkip) to send to cryptsy votes, 10K votes off the bat like that could make a good statement Smiley

I don't want join Cryptsy now we should get cool web, 1st some market then go with out it we will be another coin around.
BTW i want buy many low today.

I bought too high because i was sleeping during the first big down so my avg buy might be around 2500, and i'm not worried because of the 1% interest, i'd be worried if it goes more than 5%, but would not be against raising it to 3-5 first year to increase incentive for early buyers to keep their coins.

Do people not understand how raising PoS % would COMPLETELY DISCREDIT Blackcoin? If a coin can at any moment have it's features manipulated in this way there is significant damage to it as an asset, and its reputation as reliable currency. It is equivalent to share-dilution of a company's stock. If you want 60 million coins, go mine some shitcoin with a block reward of 1mil and diff of 2 and enjoy your worthless play-money.

Who said anyone wants 60 mil coins!? I don't remember saying that  Huh

XbladeX has explained in detail the merits of BlackCoin as it stands now.
Which has helped me and hopefully anyone else who compares BC with
other POS coins the benefit of a low interest rate.

No offense meant, and I wasn't singling you out. Don't think I even saw your post. Just trying to help set the matter straight. On a macro level, if you look at what is happening in the altcoin ecosphere as a whole, with new coins popping up right and left, you realize that it's getting more and more out of wack. There's just not enough bitcoin coming in to absorb this flood, so things are increasingly worth less, and mining is turning to a insta-rape/dump game. People dump when they have no faith or reason to believe their coin may actually be worth something, hopefully more (or least the same) tomorrow as it is today. Let's hope BC stands out as a stable, smart coin and can garner acceptance in the real world. I think it can.
