new support seems to be around 4200 Yes doing really good. Real stable rise all day except for a few moments, no typical pump and dump. + the community keeps getting bigger everyday Can't wait on what tomorrow will bring. Oh and don't forget the pools aren't even up yet.

If anyone is interested in throwing a small amount of hash at something, this is my BC paying P2Pool project I am working on: http://cryptoalts.com/index.phpIt's not profit switching as that's just over my head given the time I have to work on this (once it's working 100% automated I may look into profit switching), but my goal is to get a few of these nodes setup in different geographical locations (NA west, NA east, EU, Australia, etc) as failovers to the larger pools to help support the "BC mining" network. The first test went well. The second one had some stuff added that turned out buggy and needed fixing. The third test is running now, and hopefully the bugs from test number two are sorted. Miners are getting paid their share in BC. just gone in, Im in uk so im getting a few rejects but Im not too bothered right now, Im sure when more nodes go up my mining will improve. I just realized I accidentally had the front-end disabled to updates (was working on something), sorry about that to anyone who may have sent in hashes in the past hour! It's turned on again and when you send in a miner it should take no longer than 2 minutes to show up and up to 5-10 minutes to read the full hash rate. From brief testing, EU has been getting about ~8-12% DOA to the node. Australia has been at ~15%. USA is fine, usually 2-7%.

Interesting fact is that the top 100 wallets hold ~50% of the coins. I guess this is similar to Bitcoin and Litecoin in the early days and to a lesser extent now. There seems to be plenty of demand for this coin even at 4000+ sat levels, but also people are willing to sell and take profits at this level. I must admit I kicked myself for not selling a couple of days ago when it spiked to 4300 as I could have rebought back in at 2500.
I am so surprised that Cryptsy haven't listed this coin yet with the huge volumes it is getting on Mintpal.
Also take a look at Darkcoin, this coin is a sleeping giant and I hold a few blocks worth for long term, but there seems to be no volume to it at the moment. I think this is because miners are stockpiling. It is definitely bucking the trend of most of the altcoins on the market (downward trend straight to the bottom). HeavyCoin also.

Funny those are basically the only coins I have. Blackcoin just keeps coming back. It's nice to see real development and innovative solutions coming from some alts while the majority are just pathetic. I agree about Darkcoin everyone should have at least some. It has tremendous upside potential.

Do not worry. 1. If not using it already, use the latest wallet version (v1.0.3) 2. Sync again your wallet by deleting blockchain and downloading it again. I think you will be fine.

I had this problem, but you just need to go to your appdata folder and remove everything but the wallet.dat file. Then reload the wallet and it will download the new blockchain and refresh your balance. If you enter your wallet id here ( http://agran.net/bc_getbalance.php?top=100) you should see your actual balance.

Heavycoin - got my vote on + // their algorythm is the best much faster than Darkcoin 5x faster and more anergy efecient. My ring on scrypt 1600W Darkcoin 1200W HeavyCoin 750W heavy is hurted because some people who made GPU miner they prbably mined before they have relised GPU miner and they have dumped large amounts of HVC on market. heavy coin have much more effective algorithm than scrypt n or X11. Not many GPU miners know even about Heavy... GPU miner have 5 days ? Official version 3days? IMO heavy like Vert and dark can rebuild position but all copy script are domed. With Heavy you can vote to cut supply if price is going down this is feature ^^Anyway i am happy that BC is off from those problems. PS:Coinwarz should change name to "coinstodump" it works that way. , When i see coin on top coinwars usualy that mean price fall. Even LTC.

I wonder if someone takes care of that since everyone is always referring to the top 100 to show how nice the distribution is.

The balances in the top 100 match the block explorer and are correct to the blockchain. If it doesn't match your wallet balance, go to your console and type listaddressgroupings there you will see all your other addresses and their balance. These are automatically generated addresses used for change and staking.

new floor for BC is @ 4000... in span of 1 week it increases its value at least 30%.. altcoins pump dump is 50-100% or negative 50-100% risk short term.. guess im sticking with a more less risk and long term investment for this coin. long term yields more profit than short term in all cases! welcome me for being future millionaire!

If I add those I indeed get my wallet balance. Still that makes the "top100" a bit inaccurate, doesn't it?
