Hi IconicExpert,
Before I send my contribution, I'd like to see some verified credentials.
Please. Bump. I have 1000BC waiting and ready. How about you just send him the BC and trust him? Because this is exactly the reason why there are so many scams around on the Internet. You guys just sent $400 to someone with just a username and know nothing else about him. Or was it posted somewhere?

Giving money to strangers is a good way to burned in crypto-land.

If it's legit there's no reason he can't provide proof.

At the very least you have Tom Keller post on his Link-In under his job experience: I might be working on a BlackCoin article in the future for Bitcointalk username: IconicExpert if 23,000 BlackCoin is raised on asktom.cf. These are the verification methods everyone needs to learn before sending real money.

I am not posting my "credentials" on a forum that is notorious for hackers, and just to make you feel comfortable. If you are not comfortable contributing to the project that is fine. This weekend the contributors will get an advance copy of the release, and next week the press release will be live for all to read. That will be all the credentials you need. And when BlackCoin gets a bit of press you can say thank you to everyone who pitched in. I find it interesting that some people have "concerns" about contributing to something that benefits everyone here, but have little to no concerns sending tens of thousands of coins to exchanges run by anonymous people in foreign countries. Did anyone get their BC back from CryptoRush yet?
Sometimes you have to have faith in individual people and not assume everyone's intentions are nefarious.

Just woke up - Glad we are stable above 5000 again! Well done to those who have held throughout the panic. I am glad my sell walls haven't been touched, shows we have all got a bit of backbone I will continue to purchase blackcoin under the sell wall at 5661 over the next few hours, like I said earlier, If you do want to sell - no worries! - but please do so by placing a sell wall that can be bought up as opposed to panic-ridden dumping into the buy walls - It may take a few minutes for people to see it and act but it will be bought up and we all win EDIT: Whoever is placing the stupid 2.5 BC orders in order to try and drop the price, don't waste your time, people aren't that stupid - the stupid ones were weeded out at 3900, your target market has moved on

Blackcoin Community Press Release Project
Hi everyone! The past few days there have been some concerns with BC price dipping a bit, and other concerns that the Volume has decreased by more than half. I would like to point out that BlackCoin is just over a month old and it has gained a lot of value in a very short span of time.
That being said I do believe more can be done on the PR side of things to start generating some positive buzz around BlackCoin. We need to be different than the other cryptocurrency communities and approach mass adoption differently. Most investors that might be interested in investing in BlackCoin do not go to these forums, nor do they read websites related to cryptocurrencies. So we have to bring the BlackCoin news to them.
I have a writer I have used for over 7 years and he write all my press releases. I am writing down BlackCoin's key benefits and he will then write the release. I use a PR service that will submit our release to all the top business and financial sites. This should be the first step at introducing BlackCoin to the masses.
Everyone here already knows the benefits of BlackCoin so I wont list them all. However, in the press release I want to point out BlackCoin is not an ordinary cryptocurrency. It is more like a t-bill/bond/savings account for cryptocurrency. Whereas Bitcoin and other cyrptocurrency prices fluctuate wildly based on postive/negative news, BlackCoin prices are less volatile and a better overall investment.
I am going to schedule the release for the week of April 8th to coincide with the Cryptocurrency Convention in NYC . Once the press release is live the community can start posting links to the release everywhere we can.
I am going to use my own money to pay the writer and the press release distribution service. The writer charges approximately $80 depending on how many words, and the press release service charges $499+ to distribute to financial websites including Yahoo! Finance, Bloomberg, and the Wall Street Journal to name a few.
If you guys want to contribute and help with the cost you can send contributions here: BQQsUdYaqCGUDhdXPADto1gKwvEA2a92TP
If you have contributed to the project and you do not see your name listed, please PM me so I can list your name publicly.PS: To everyone who donated, you will receive an advanced copy on the press release this weekend.Contributors Updated mrbenjie PeterPalmBeach taoway TheGift73 coinpredator MuffinMaster jamieb81 CryptoSteam artiface noerc SunnyIgor JamesR1 YAdaminer svojoe ptic-1 cyrilbf StuartGT now2ai8 krjalone UdjinM6 Luxasd

Sometimes you have to have faith in individual people and not assume everyone's intentions are nefarious.I wouldn't send my coins to CryptoRush or store them longer than needed on any exchange, why should I trust you? People who are sending you coins are naive at best. Even if you are legitimate, which I don't really know, this is really poor form and I encourage everybody to think twice about donating before any proof.

I've helped with many victims of online scams (and run a website dealing with it specifically) and my cardinal rule is "Never send money to anyone who provides nothing but promises." If you want to be anonymous that's fine. I know people who are like that and respect their privacy, but their usernames are backed up by at least 10 positive feedback. Like here? or Ebay? Let me know and I'll verify it for users here. Or this. I've given you a lot of options here.

I agree with you to a certain extent. Each situation should be evaluated on a case by case basis. When someone asked the name of the writer I am using, I didn't hesitate to post the writer's info. Now if you do not want to contribute now and wait on the fence that is fine, you have that right. When the Press Release is live you could always contribute the 1000 BC.

Indeed, and it has a big community. Ánd it found a great way to keep creating demand for the coin (by the pool), which works fine for the price of this great coin .
