Guys this is just to awesome.. You would expect people to dump their bc to go in dollars wait for btc to drop. buy more bitcoin and buy more coins. But no.. That aint gonna happen Blackcoin is just sooooo stable! If blackcoin can handle this and not even drop 500 satoshis... People are remembering this. And when bitcoin starts picking up its momentum up.. http://cryptocrimson.com/2014/04/bitcoin-may-poised-major-wall-st-fueled-rebound/Holy shit. The limits of blackcoin are endless. We are going to head to chase peercoins ex prices above a dollar. MEaning it doesnt stops at a dollar.. And peercoin is and was way to much bounded towards bitcoin. But look blackcoin is NOT So happy with my 14k. Gonna store my wallet.dat on 10 usb sticks now and delete it off my pc so nobody can steal it <3. I have a strong password but if I get malware and someone can read my password I get hacked right? Yes. You should at very least be using a password manager, like Password Safe or something. You can enter all your passwords through a randomized virtual keyboard, and store them in an encrypted database, paste directly from clipboard with a double-click/paste. You can even add a yubikey for accessing this program.

ECC Was estable also, and FAC, LTC The only truth is for a weeks people will be reluctant in general to invest in all kind of crypto, if you are not a miner you are loosing money right now getting into cryptoland.

Congratulations on getting added to CoinKite!
Now for anybody wondering what they can do to help BC a very small thing that could be quite productive is:
Ask Cryptsy to add a USD/BC market!
Within the next week they say they are adding USD /BTC/LTC/DOGE/FTC Lets get BC added to that list!
Its just one email!
+1000 im tryin to ask @horusisthesun about that on twitter. Hopefully we get +1000, I know Cryptsy normally will add a new coin if they get over 100 emails requesting it; since where already there hopefully only 100 more to get a USD market registered. And remember Cryptsy has made big changes, from what I have read they are the only exchange based in the US (where bitcoin has been declared property, so hopefully property theft should not occur) They have been compliant with the IRS (from there twitter feeds), FinCEN (Cryptsy displays on their front page FinCEN BSA ID: 31000027060819) and followed SEC regulation by listing their shares with a separate entity! From what I read they started filing paperwork back in September, If Mint pal could add USD it would be great but I think we have a much better shot getting listed with Cryptsy when they go live. So take the time and Message Big Vern/ Cryptsy and Lets get a BC/USD pairing! meh... I would take BTC-E over cryptsy anyday I think you missed the point, I was implying that Cryptsy has become more secure as some still think of it as "fly by night" and that we should vote for a BC/USD pairing as this would be good overall for BC. If you prefer BTC-E why not message both (when was the last time BTC-E added a new ALT) If BTC-E sees Cryptsy do it or vice versa then they will be more likely to add it. Overall lets get it on every exchange we can! Another little thing we can do as a community is if you ebay (or other auction site) accept Black coin as payment! This is similar to what Jabon is doing however anybody that looks at your auction even if they know nothing might start to find out about black coin. Easy to copy and paste the Blackcoin accepted here logo. The more people see it the more comfortable they will become! http://www.blackcoin.co/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/bc-acceptedhere-2.png

Hi there ! First, please apologize for my bad english... I'm in France. Well, I'm really interested in getting involved with BC. I'm 3D/graphic designer. I'm also creating my company, wich is dedicated to 3D printing (selling/renting 3D printers and printing objects). In the next 15 days I'll be able to prototype coins if you need it (it's in plastic by the way), the only problem is the shipping to US... But let me know if you need my help for anything

bitcoin takes a shit kicking while blackcoin doesn't even flinch #bosslife
BC is losing value compared to USD. Because BTC/USD falling so much. In order for BC/USD to hold steady while BTC falls, then BC/BTC would need to rise significantly. Not that hard.. BC market value in USD down 18%.

As long as BC is tied to BTC for conversion if BTC goes down and BC goes sideways that means BC went down in BC with BTC; now if BC goes up more than BTC goes down, then BC increased in USD. Anyhow, it looks like most cryptos (including BC) on MintPal had mostly sideways'ish days today with BTC's continued collapsing USD price. The main difference though is BC managed to do it with over 280 BTC volume and all of a 3% standard deviation in price (stable) The second heaviest trading crytpo on MintPal, FAC, traded a respectable 140 BTC, however shat the bed with a nearly 30% decline and almost 40% standard deviation (not stable). No other coin came close to having such high volume and low deviation like BC did today. BC still has no major targets given away by volume, unfortunately, so we continue in this hold pattern until something gives. BTC on the other hand continues making these panic-selling lower-lows on high volume, so unless it sees some sort of a bounce from low-volume selling to high-volume buying "down" will continue to be the name of the game there.

Not sure if we will see a lot of fresh investment as people will be less likely to convert fresh cash to bitcoin whilst it is crashing.
Hopefully we take liquidity from other altcoins as people look for safety
