What exactly is happening behind the trades when you see this?

Automatic traders (bots) are buying up coins and selling coins at the same time, causing wild fluctuations in the price.

My question is more like, who builds such bots and why?

Stop spreading FUD, people are buying in mintpal.

Mintpal does not have API for to to log bot, do not talk nonsense!

The mintpal just has API for to read the order book, volume, etc..

You guys do understand that a good 98% of us who invest in these altcoins dont make the market go up or down. its the whales in the 2% that actually raise the price of the coin. no ones buying in because bc is a long term investment. none of these coins are good long time holds, cause the whales will dump them when they're done. just be smart when you are trading.
