If things keep going so well, I will have to buy me a BlacKlighteR and a cheap cigar (as I am not even a plangton with less than 800bc). Designed with the Blackcoin usb wallet in mind for a perfect match. I hope it's ok:) I could order some of these, but I won't since you could do it yourself a lot cheaper wow awesome would love to have one even im non smoker I want want. take may blackcoins!!!!!!! No mate! I am not a sales man! Do it yourself! See the description under the lighter's photo http://takkaros.imgur.com/all Cheers Maybe mintpal froze due to the high traffic?? I'll see if I can put something together tomorrow. It won't be quite the same though. Still gives some-else a chance to create something pictured.

Not the first time it happens with Mintpal, and their protection has proven to be good agains DDOS DDoS can't do anything with mintpal wallets... Not directly but DDOS attacks on interface often accompany, or are red herrings for, a second attack on deeper infrastructure. But maybe there were just too many of us.

I appreciate your article but you people should start get a little bit more real about it What this means is that there are no miners who do any mining like in Bitcoin, instead new coins are generated by everyone who has Blackcoins in his/her wallet that are "staked". For the sake of reality , blackcoin is not 'green' nor reducing CO2 emissions whatsoever. On the official website it promotes mining like parasites from other coins. I'm not sure how can you call that an innovation , I say that is a workaround.

But that's how green energy works. You actually burn off carbon energy sources that have already been used rather than getting hold of a fresh one. Ok, it's a little awkward. But its energy that is used at an economic rate.

workaround, but still something to reassure merchants that there is always someone buying. Since it is proof-of-stake I would say it is green. I'm not sure how can you call that an innovation , I say that is a workaround. Your logic is very flawed here. That mining would exist with or without blackcoin, and blackcoin is not contributing any additional mining of its own. Further, while the mining pool is great, it's not a part of blackcoin itself, and someday in the future, it's definitely possible that the proof of work coins fall out of favor entirely, whether or not that means blackcoin becomes the crypto-king.
