A Little Bit of History

In the past 4 days I have been seeing a lot of new faces, and I think everyone here is happy we have new people on board. The new wave of people using BlackCoin makes the coin stronger. Many of the people who invested in BlackCoin above 10,000 sat did so because of the sudden rise in volume and they wanted to ride the BlackCoin elevator to the top. Many of these people have no idea about BlackCoin or the recent trends we have experienced. BlackCoin has experienced similar sell offs and BlackCoin has always bounced back higher than the previous level. A lot of people who bought/mined below 10,000 cashed out at the height of trading and that is perfect! Now there are more coins spread more evenly amongst holders, and each time we rise to new heights there will be similar sell offs. Today @ 9AM EST I will give an update on the media blitz we are planning to start in the next 24 hours.

Great to hear! I have been around BC since launch. This coin always bounces back and only gets stronger. It is still a very young coin but it is a serious contender. It is now the time to buy now. Smart buyers buy at the lows and not at peaks so get it while it is cheap.

This coin was under 9,000 just a week ago... now it's at 17,000 .... how is it dead again?

Just because you noticed it when it was 90,000 and the whales were pumping it... doesn't mean it's dead. It just means coins have been moved into new hands and those who wanted their quick buck got it. Now the coin is still nearly 100% over its price a week ago and will continue to grow over the coming months.

Bitcoin didn't shoot up over night.. it took years to build it. BlackCoin is alive and well!

The answer is: it isn't better, in terms of potential Returns on Investment.

The reason is, contrary to BlackCoin, PeerCoin destroys all transaction fees. This makes the yearly inflation of 1% irrelevant, since the suppy tends to remain the same (not counting with mining).

BlackCoin doesn't destroy transaction fees, so it has more inflation than PPC which means in long term there will be always some correction because of this inflation.

But still, BlackCoin is great coin and 1% inflation / year is nothing.

Ultimately all the coins are tied to the BTC price , so it makes no point investing in alts longterm unless you're a day 1 adopter or a trader

If you want to direct your anger towards me because you bought in above 20000k and now you are angry because there was a sell off, then by all means direct your anger towards me if it makes you feel better. I am on the front lines with the devs and others to help make BlackCoin a household name. I do not get "paid" to be here, nor did I mine millions of coins in the beginning. Some of my coins I mined briefly, but the majority of my coins I purchased like the rest of you. The Devs and I are not magicians and we do not control the price of BC . As I said in a post this morning there will always be sell offs at certain levels, not everyone is in it for the long run.

So lets stop focusing on the past and lets resume what we started a week ago. Many have donated to begin our second media blitz and tomorrow morning we will plaster BlackCoin everywhere we can! Two separate press releases are being written by two different writers so the best one can be selected. I have about a dozen bloggers ready to start plastering BC links all over the net starting tomorrow morning. The devs are hard at work getting BlackCoin accepted everywhere they can, and orders for the BlackCoin card are still coming in. We are planning a huge media event at the end of May, and by June no one will ever question the legitimacy of BlackCoin again!!!

So if the roller coaster ride is too much for you to handle,  and you are scared to hold, then by all means sell off now and buy some MINT. But for the rest of you who have been holding from below 10,000 sat and believe in the people behind BlackCoin, then just ignore the noise. It is the same noise from several weeks ago. BC has a short block time.  PPC 10 minutes, BC less than 1 minute.
BC is pure PoS coin and PPC is not.  I'm not sure if PPC will ever be pure PoS

BC will not be as stable as PPC due to BC being only 1 month old.  Wait 3 years and see how stable BC is.
