wow....24 cards off one mobo...can you imagine the cabling and PSU mess? Seriously, I'm not too sure how well those would work. You'd want 1.5m long risers for a start, and the frame would look like the stand at a premiership football game Rit.

Apart from me admitting I WTB share from the original IPO on original price, I want to turn attention of the whole community and Jaymes (the CEO) mainly:
Jaymes,
1.Now you will have even less funds to buy video cards to sell. 2. Demand for video cards will be INSANLY higher than the initial quantity you can provide and I BET that you will end up with tons of orders, which will be put on a waitlist for a second round of buying. 3. You made already mistakes by launching the coin in a wrong way, its reputation is already not that good, my strong advice to you is to open a second IPO stage. 4. Listen to me, do not make stupid mistake, because, if you are left in a situation I already described above, and that coin gets one more severe major step crash, I doubt you will be able to recover its reputation in future! REMEMBER MY WORDS!
Bad advice. Bad for you of course. You want to sell your action on 200% price. And who buy in it will be even in 10 times worse postion than before the IPO refunds, because now the price per Milion can drop to 0,11 BTC. And yes, I will say this lound here, now you can not delete my post as in your self moderated thread.Terrible Idea from the guy who has been on the auction list for buying everyone elses IPO since the guy started the auction. If he opens a second IPO this coins dies before it starts. <-- That '.' is spelled PERIOD. Many initial investors said that they would pull their initial IPO if this project opened a second IPO.

He's allowing the current investors to buy the refunded GPUC. The refunded what? Correct me if I am wrong, but currently only BTCs are refunded. The GPUC that investors bought with their BTC. Existing investors can now invest more BTC up to the original total (before the refunds happened) to buy more GPUC.

I think if I could get one, I would go get the 8 pci-express riser
Have 8 750Ti's connected to a system, my spare ssd, my spare xeon processor. Total power pull should be less then 400w and give 2.3mhash/s in scrypt.
Here in the UK the gpus would cost around £900. Have about 4 spare systems kicking about waiting for them. Be a nice system, low power and they generate hardly any heat
Especially when compared to the high price on 290X and high power usage
I don't want to sound pessimistic but assuming a gpu such as the 750ti will be at a minimum of say roughly 1Millions gpu coins Oversea shipment: 250k gpucoins... (and I am certainly on the low side) x8 Unless you already got tons of gpus hashpower, it might take a while before you get 8 (and clearly they will be outdated by then)

Get a server cabinet and stick the entire thing in there. May take up a room but running all that from one psu? Who can complain A load of molex connectors and the riser cables. And pci express 2 is only 500MB/s at x16. most mining systems can run fine at x1 speed. Now think, usb3 is capable of 625MB/s Why not a single usb3 cable from the MB to a main splitter. Then 1.5m isn't too far, and it will run 4 or even 8 gpus easily. Less mess. An idea that will most likely never be used but I am bored And if gpucoin stays at what the IPO'S are selling at, 1 million coins would be enough to buy 2. And if you can get 2, why not just buy some more and add to it. Anyway the big maxwell gpus come out in the summer. High performance and still very low power.

Personally, I'm going to sell all of my cards come Q3 and pick up 6 or 8 GTX 880. A 20nm Full Maxwell GPU is going to be epic. I don't have that many CPU/Motherboards to plug the cards into so that's my best bet without spending extra money on PSU/motherboard/CPUs

While it may indeed be a beast, you'll have to think of the cost by then. 5MH/s ASIC Scrypt miners *should* be out by Q3/Q4. If you can buy a 5MH/s (100 watts) setup from Alpha for roughly 1300 U.S. dollars, then what route do you take?

And keccak runs really well on them

@dogmygod. Thanks. I am truly sorry that this coin has failed to have a successful launch. My intent when starting this auction was to have it end 1 hour after the coin's launched, that has been on the top of my post and in 1/2 of my updates... "60 minutes after a successful launch". I have yet to see a successful launch so I have not changed the terms of this auction.

i've got a simple question
if he were to make the 280x cost say 10 coins, wouldnt that mark the value of the coin and force it to have a high value right out of the gate?

Of course then he would need the product to support it. At the price of 10 per I would be able to purchase 100000.

10 coins when a block contains 20k coins lol, I think the CEO would fill for bankruptcy in a very short delay... unless he convinces his distributors to accept gpucoin as payment (which in turns would have to convince all america to use it... and so on... ). Might happen, who knows, but not next week.
