You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

Thanks. The CEO of GPUCoin will be making those determinations. He has all the available options on the table now.

Fantastic update. Thank you for the constant communication! Any change with an OSX wallet being released that a Linux/Debian wallet could be produced? Would love to keep this coin off of my windows box! I would LOVE this. I do not even own a windows box anymore. I was using a clients pc that was here on the last launch A MAC wallet would be great!

First 300 blocks will be worth 0 (after premine, or including premine, i cannot remember), no chance to solomine this puppy now.

it is a difficult concept but until a cryptocurrency finds a way to prevent pump and dump, no coin will truly stick around
Pump and dump happens because the products at hand have no real value, and everything just rides on pure speculation. Fiat runs solely because people accept them for goods and services.... Really? I've been mining Nobl for 2 months and buying amazon giftcards directly and buying gpu's with them and getting a 12% discount to boot. No BTC conversion fee's and no fee's for fiat change as well. I'm doing newegg cards there now as the price changed in neweggs favor for what I want. exactly my point... you were able to exchange your NOBL for consumable goods, because someone was ready to take them from you in exchange for a product/service they owned... anything from paying a restaurant bill, offer coupons, a truckload of toilet paper, whatever. That is the only way a coin survives.... and NOBL will stand the test of time as long as more people offer to take the NOBL from you in exchange for something they can give you for consumption.... I was talking about the hundreds of other altcoins that cannot be used to purchase anything in the real world other than the BTC of the greater fool. That is when the coin dies. GPUC cannot die as long as there exists an online store accepting GPUC, and positive testimonials of receiving the products of course I guess I mis-understood you. If you'll note Nobl Market place in my screenies is 100% is a pretty nice customer relation rating to boot. I'm still waiting on the DEV here to explain how he's going to compensate me for the lost time on his failed launches. I could have more In that order If I hadn't wasted my systems on his failure. You participated in the failed launch because you expected to make some form of financial profit from doing so. You speculated that you would make money, and your speculation was wrong. That is part of the cryptocurrency trading process. Nobody forced you to participate. If you had made a large profit from the launch, would you have given back some of it to the development team free of charge? You would prolly argue that you don't owe them anything. Based on the same line of thinking that leads to that argument, they don't owe you anything either.

I think removing solo mining was a big mistake sadly
They did not remove solo mining, they removed the chance to instamine a whole bunch of coins. Phad

I mean by making the length of the 0 reward so long. I believe it's a few hours. So its only going to be possible to mine in a pool. Never mind. I guess I will have to rely on some stable pools being around
That sounds more fair to me than a single person with a massive rig mining 1 BTC worth of coins during the first hour. May I ask -- are you against sharing?

I'm an nvidia miner. The second pools start up and all the amd gpus turn on mining for me goes out the window as it's scrypt-n
So in all honestly most launches based on pools are only good for those with amd gpus. Kind of removes the point of it being gpucoin if only amd has a chance. But i will live with it and give it a go
#1 - stop vulturing coins with nvidia and complaining about it.. pretty sure you made enough by vulturing regular scrypt coin launches that you could afford a 280x by now. If you continue to want to use nvidia, fine, just wait for flappycoin 2.0 and other worthless scrypt base coins to come out, and vulture their launches. #2 - GPUcoin - do you understand the premise behind gpucoin... Its not so it can only be mined by GPU's... its meant to BUY gpu's, you know something you havent done, with the actual coin purchased / mined... He has the ability to get gpu's from distribution , and wanted to setup a coin market place for it. You can solomine for the first 200 blocks with zero reward, the good news is by that time Pools still wont have it figured out, and people will have their AMD solomining setups done, to start reaping soloblocks.

Yeh ignore me guys, I only just got up when I wrote those messages, sorry. Will edit them to remove my rant. No I don't vulture on other coins by the way.
I haven't earn enough from mining to even get a £100 gpu as I try and stick the coins out. Will have to see anyway

Seriously in pool, if you have a small miner you just left with scrap (but that the way it works) while large mining farm got the largest part of the coin. Solo mining gives chance to small miner to get a few coin if they are lucky. (it remains a lottery... ) It is not about vulturing or whatever it is just about getting a chance to see a few coin a bit faster (but on a very short period) than we would do in pool. Larger mining farm don't really care to solomine because they will get their large share no matter what. So the good news about the absence of solo mining (which I find personnally more funny that just sitting in a pool waiting for someone else finding blocks) is that I will be able to sleep longer.

I dunno if this could be any help or not for the next launch, but, ECC launched lastnight and it was absolutely flawless, with close to 3gigahash right at launch and sustained it for about an hour. Network hash is half that right now. They released source and wallets right on time and within minutes everything was synced. Maybe the owner / devs here could talk to the team which launched the coin and get input / suggestions? Link: https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=503236.0Not supporting or endorsing the coin, but it was an example of a professional launch.

Coin launched went well but most if not all pools were down in the first 20 minutes of launch. Yeah, because they had to download and compile the source and setup their config files. Nothing, not even coin specs, were released to pool operators prior to launch. Once they released code, I had my pool up within 10 minutes. A delay at launch is not unusual while everyone is compiling the server backend. Flawless launch, and still running smooth.
