Anyone know what the n-factor is set to?  Is it 11 like vertcoin or something else.  Only asking since the newer sgminer that supports n-scrypt now allows us to set it and I would like to have it match.

yes, same algo as vert, so, set n=11 in sgminer fork

Thanks for the info.

No offence guys. But you would have thought that if this coin had launched on sat morning we might not be mining for 1 coin per day right now.

Unless that was only decided last minute.

You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

Hey, it's working.

I tried these settings.

Code:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
COLOR 0A
vertminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://gpu.oakpool.com:3355 -u j23a.1 -p x -I 12 --thread-concurrency 6000 -d 0 --

gpu-platform 1 -w 256 -I 13 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 900 --thread-

concurrency 8193 -g 2 --auto-fan --lookup-gap 2

I just changed the memclock from 1500 to 900

I'm getting 132 kh/s, and I imagine that's low for two 290x, but I don't care. I'm just glad it's working.

Thank you for everyone who helped. I honestly truly appreciate it.
Someone may have already asked but how much dram memory do you have installed? Also try removing the -d 0 tag from your config file If you have onboard graphics go into the device manager and disable it uless your using it to run your monitor.

I have 6 GB.

Edit: I thought  you said Damn Memory. But I have 6gb of ram, and plus what the 290x has, which is 6gb in all I think for two.

Ive struggeled ALL day with different miners and other poblems regarding NFactor and scrypt-jane. Everything resulted in a driver crash, black screen, BSOD etc.. you name it
I then tried different types of drivers and versions which also didnt help at all. I have 5 R9 290 running in two machines, one with 24gb ram and one with 6. Both ended up with the same problem whatsoever.
I came to a conclution that ive been pushing it too hard... you might try this

Using http://sgminerwindows.com/sgminer-nfactor-zuikkis.php

Thanks. I'll try it in an hour or so. Right now my head is overwhelmed, and will try to lay down for a little.

or get someone to do it who 'knows' what they are doing.

I ran it with the settings that you gave me and this is what I got: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4012234/sgm.PNG

There has to be a reason, just can't think of any. I've troubled shooted this hard, including reinstalling the OS. I should mentioned that last week, during the 1st GPUCoin launch, Vertminer completely messed up my GPUs for like an hour. Not even restarting it would fix it, and the computer would go blank. So perhaps that's related.

I read that Vertminer could mess up GPUs. I guess because of the voltage.

I'm currently mining with a single 7950 and getting 280kH/s or so but the pool is only showing 30 kH/s??

Without more info, there's not much anybody can do except recommend some settings. How long have you been mining on the pool at that speed? Are you getting hardware errors? What's your accepted:rejected ratio?

I have two 7950 cards running @ ~ 343 Kh/s each. My settings can be found here:

getting on average 320kh with my 7950 with those settings.
so far only had 1 hw error.
have core at 1100 and ram at 1500.

i've read countless times that ram speed doesn't matter for -n but i'm not changing my settings.

may have your voltage too low to support that intensity. that was my problem anyway.

I copied your conf file, put my information, and it's giving me the best kh/s I've gotten, by far. Both my GPUs are also working. Very nice.

@ vesperwillow What i meant is that you will be wasting your time mining for this as you will be in a que as with asic miners and sha miners because there is soo many people mining this coin amd the peoplpe that have created the coin can only supply a certain amount of gpu's a month as there are soo many other suppliers and on-line stores out there with oreders from the factories that can only make soo many cards a month!

Error -4: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue

Any ideas?
