Well I don't have much experience, but I do know this: GPU coin is listed on 4 complete no-name unknown rinky-dink exchanges. And you won't get on the big ones (Cryptsy, Coins-E, etc.) until the coin is on the various crypto charts. http://coinpolice.com/coin-comparison/http://www.coinchoose.com/http://coinmarketcap.com/http://www.cointweak.com/calculator/index/scrypt So what do most coin devs do? Simple, they pay (or bribe, depending on how you look at it) the medium sized exchanges to get listed. Think Mintpal, Cryptorush, etc. Tips appreciated: GYRzmSL3FYu8gNdUfn28TT7BNGnQkrn9wr

So this is the prototype a friend has made that holds 8 GPUs, which will work well with the 16x 8 way splitter that is currently under development. This is NOT a final design and there are already a few things I want changed, but it's progress in the right direction. Welded aluminum frame and we're shooting for a selling price of $100 worth of GPUC.

3 blocks found in less than 10 minutes!! Now with Bittrex price displayed Only 0.5% Fee
P2Pool benefits:* No registration required * Distributed hashrate * Immediate payouts after a block is found * Higher payouts with transaction fees paid to miners * No account hack possible Address: p2phash.com:9404 Start mining within seconds! Just point your miner to p2phash.com:9404 and use the GPUcoin address from your wallet for username, the password doesn't matter.

Nice to hear from the coin founder (CEO whatever you wanna call him ) on a side note the p2pool is really starting to pay off with the low dif my coin output has doubled in a day and a half of mining. Awesome! I'm getting 400+ perblock at 400khash

It looks good, only thing I would recommend is to make it not welded and to be assembled by the miner who purchases it. To ship it assembled will cost muchos deneros. Pre drilled holes for aluminum screws will work or even thumb screws with a bolt to assemble will cut shipping cost WAY down. Phad

Phad I agree 100%. way cheaper to ship it in flat pieces, 5 panels or whatever and some bolts. longer bolts could be useful for attaching when stacked. Looks rad man. I always thought hanging the cards like that made more sense.

SOLUTION TO ALL THE "IT'S A SCAM COIN, CEO TOOK OUR MONEY" TROLLS.
CEO, You just posted a picture of the rig frame, so have someone take a picture of: YOU in front of a STACK of Asus 280x's, and post that here. Will get rid of most of the non-believers.

some kind of crossbar on the sides would give it more stability too for when you get 2-3 of them sacked up.

Since you have access to splitters.. I strongly suggested using Nvidia's 750 Ti.. better perf/power and cheaper too. Just plugged in one of these myself.. it runs right off of PCIE power, no external connector needed @280mh/s scrypt .. amazing! You can get 4x for price of R290. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-750-ti-review,3750-17.html

How do they perform on GPUcoin. And from the FWIW front. Tom's report on LTC mining with the 270X isn't even close. They show 302 kh/s. Mine do 470kh/s and my friend's 270s will do 440kh/s. Why would they post such bogus numbers? Is it just to make the 750ti look better?

not cheaper at all. to gain the same hash as you would with amd cards, you'd have to buy more ram, cpus, motherboards, and psus. while it may save on power, the cost to buy and run all that extra hardware will skyrocket you bills, UNLESS, your only wanting a single small light mining rig.
