When is block reward going down? And to what? There are too many coins being produced to have a good market value. Front page doesn't mention block reward other than initial??

it halves every 250,000 blocks which is 173 days so roughly every 6 months.

How do you get GPUC onto coinmarketcap.com?

Just completed filling out a request form to be included on coinmarketcap.com

And by my estimate GPUC current cap is ~85k - 100k USD

And micryon posted the block halving rate a dozen or so pages back.

There is not too many coins being produced. Its just that there are not enough people mining due to the exchange rate at present. Once the store is opened, the price will rise die to higher demand on buying coins for gpus.

You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

any new yet when the store will be open or not?
no new yet

lol...I posted this a bunch of times in this thread.  This forum sucks, you guys should really use the official forum @ http://www.gpucoinforum.com

Anyway, we are on track to have the alpha finished Sunday night/Monday.  This will give us a week of testing with a planned launch of 3/23.  I will try to get the CEO to let me show you some stuff before then  Wink

+1

And lead to higher difficulty levels as well, keeping mining profits in check. Get em while they are hot!!!

Another point about the official forum guys, outside investors click the coin link at coinmarketcap.com . This will lead them to the coins main site: GPUCoin.net ,from there they will click on the coins main forum link. If it is dead with no activity, they may not even check to see that this thread is huge, even by bitcointalk standards. Leading them to believe that there is no community behind the coin. If you have a question or comment, post it there too. I know its hard going to both places, having trouble myself, especially since no one else is posting much there, only a few so far.

Yesterday.

Check out this site for legit free BTC. It's like an hourly free lottery ticket that always pays out at least 300 satoshi, and could net you over .3 BTC if you're really lucky. Just gotta fill out a captcha each time. (basically a faucet with chance of real reward)

Miners leaving would be my guess. The pool I'm on has been dropping miners daily.

Is there a reason why they are leaving?  Profitability; lack of exchanges...?  I just started looking into this coin and wanted to try it for a while if it's worth it.  - Thanks

Some people probably prefer to mine other coins, sell them, and then buy GPUC that way. Possibly more profitable, but time consuming and not guaranteed additional profit. However, makes it easier for us who're actually mining GPUC directly.

Only you can determine if it's worth it. Personally I have my slowest miner running here and I'm just bagging the coins for now because that's all I'm willing to invest ATM. Hopefully when the storefront opens things will change and the coin value will rise and I will consider bringing more miners to the show. As with any investment, some win, some lose. IMHO the concept of this coin is good. Whether that will translate into a success is something only time will tell.

most miners like me are mining other coins right now because lite coin is paying double this week so i can mine ltc and buy way more gpuc than mining it straight.
