mintpal has become one of the better exchanges.
I've never had problems there like at cryptsy.
they quickly added a nice variety of coins.
Even during pumps, it doesnt appear to ever really lag bad.
Its easily my favorite exchange... for coins it has.

Getting gpu coin on there would be a big win for all holders. They do good volume and it is growing fast.

Why gpucoin.net is not working? Opera shows that DNS lookup failed.

Note about P2Pool Mining -
It does take about 24 hours to start receiving your full claim, but if you drop off the pool your shares continue to pay you for up to 24 hours after you leave!  Each payment should be a little more than the last payment, unless the network difficulty is rising equally or faster than your shares are building up, but then you would see your normal pool earnings dropping as well.

Good to know that you will be using a live http://www.random.org/lists/ to generate the winner.

The new store should be uploaded today, so maybe they have a new website to go with the store theme. Who knows. Either that or they have decided to call it a day. lol..

What happened to the gpucoin website?

As well as the site being updated with the store, I believe the hosting is being changed as well. You know for the increased load and all. Patience, I'd check back fairly regularly as the day goes by today. There may be some surprises in store for us.  Cheesy

You do not need to mine to enter to win, you can just send GPUc's.  You also do not need to donate to enter, you can just mine!

Note about P2Pool Mining -
I hve had a lot of questions about mining and payouts.
Read more about how this works here:
http://forum.netcodepool.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=672
(its a little read but so worth it, i don't get why more people do not do p2pool?!)

This +1

I though the largish buy walls at 36 and 37 last night would get the price going up for a while.

Would anyone be able to help me with the website?  I want to list the hash rate range (in scrypt-N and scrypt) and the power usage for the card we are selling.  Can anyone help me determine the correct values for :

Sapphire r7 240 2gb ddr3 with boost
Gigabyte r9 270 2gb
Sapphire Toxic R9 280x 3gb

I get around 480kh on regular scrypt and 220-240 on scrypt-N on my 270's.  Power usage is approx. 160w per card.

What settings are you using on your 270s?  I'm having problems getting above 200.

To be honest, I have had a time with getting them stable with Vertminer.  Its really weird, my home system (1 270x, 1 270) will run for days no problem using the version called VertiKev, which is based off 0.5.2, using settings below, running 2 threads per card.

"rawintensity" : "5120",
"worksize" : "256",
"gpu-engine" : "1130",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"thread-concurrency" : "6336",

This yields 242kh on both cards.  But I have a 5 GPU rig with 270's and another 6 GPU rig with 270x's at my store and neither will run stable on those settings.  Crashes usually within 30 minutes.  So I have tried lower intensity settings, which have helped.  But usually only get around 220kh max and it still is not 100% stable.  Will run for hours at times and then other times will crash several times a day.  Have tried 0.5.3 on those systems too, running 1 thread, with similar results.  So I am still tweaking on those.  If I am going to continue mining scrypt-N coins, have to get them more stable.  I would try the settings above first though, they run stable for a lot of people just like it does on my home system.  All of my rigs will run regular scrypt for days at around 480kh, just have to get Vertminer that stable.
