Constructive criticism: I believe it is a bad idea to hold a sale on friday.
The GPU's are already on sale practically, they are low enough that anyone looking on the market for a GPU who knows how to buy GPUCoin and knows about the store will likely buy them regardless whether they are at the current price or discounted further.
The problem is not that the prices are not cheap enough. The problem is twofold: 1. People don't know about the GPUCoin store in general. 2. The process of getting GPUCoins is too confusing and labor-intensive.
By holding a sale you are not likely to increase your customer base (you will a little).
What might happen though is people who were going to buy (I was going to buy but waiting for the coin to go back up in price) are now going to wait until the sale.
What you should have done is spent the money you are going to lose through selling the items cheaper on advertising.
You also NEED to make it clearer how to get GPUCoins and stop scaring away potential customers. I have not looked for awhile but the last time I looked your site and business had serious problems. There was no link to a page telling a customer how to get GPUCoins.
i'd listen to this guy. thumbs up

If you have specific recommendations I would gladly implement them into the website. I'm not clearly exactly what you mean though.

Where on the GPUCoin store website is a link to a place to purchase GPUCoins or instructions on how to obtain GPUCoins? The answer to that questions should answer yours.

Ok, so you are thinking it will contain information about how to convert fiat to BTC and then what exchanges to use?

A link to an information page describing how people obtain GPUCoins would definitely be useful. How do you expect someone who hears about the cheaps GPUs will be able to make a purchase if they have no idea what GPUCoins are or where to get them? I for one would get frustrated and forget about the site. I believe right now that the difficulty of obtaining GPUCoins and lack of information is one of the big hurdles for this site, much more than the prices.

An ideal information page would be like an infographic - easy to read with valuable information.
On it you would describe how people get GPUCoin.
This would include a brief description of how people mine for them, and a link to a page with further informaiton about mining.
It would also describe how you can get GPUCoin on exchanges, and include a link to a page listing exchanges and more information.
And a link to this should clearly be on the store' main page. I would have a 'How to get GPUCoin' icon near were the prices are listed.

i think taking the idea of the "getting started" that pools have, is a good idea for pointing people in the direction of getting coins you can make it two parts part 1 is how to mine the coin with maybe the top pools and explain what software to use with what settings part 2 could be how to buy it using the exchanges out there.
also my suggestion on selling gpuc directly from the store front at a slightly elevated price would also help out.

that would be pretty clever since people would buy gpus and think of learning the system for an even better deal. If anything I think it will succeed in pulling more people into gpucoin for that matter. Would have a fantastic effect on the market if people bought into gpucoins and bought there gpus and are just gone after that. No pump and dump.. only pump

And the price in USD so that people know that if they jump through these hoops...what they are doing it for. The value needs to be clear...both to miners and the general public.

I've been saying this for a while. The main page needs to at least have links to the 4 good exchanges so miners or tech savy/bitcoin investors can go to to get GPU coin. But more importantly, if it can be implemented, anyone should be able to buy GPU coin right at the store. There are two advantages for two different groups. 1)Store sells GPU coin for bitcoin. This is for the technically inclined. Easy to implement and bonus is the CEO does not have to convert GPU coin after a sale to bitcoin on an exchange (so no dump), he already has both the bitcoin and gpu coin he just sold after the card is purchased. 2)Store sells GPU coin for FIAT. This is for non technically inclined. May be my grandma, ebayers used to paypal, or just straight gamers wanting a card. Ability to buy GPU coin in USD $$s EASILY. Now I don't know if it is easier to enter your paypal info or credit card info for Hendr1x to implement, but I have paid for many things over the internet with both Paypal and Credit/Debit cards. I see no reason why you couldn't buy GPU coin that easily. (On second thought, people would need the wallet download with instructions, so not that easy for newbies, that info needs to be on the main page) Both of these improvements would also let CEO buy more cards and mining equipment because he has more USD $$s from paypal, credit cards, or bitcoin (which he converts, so not as ideal). And he also just gets his GPU coin right back, which he still can sell or slowly liquidate if needed on the exchanges. If this was done, I think there could be a lot more interest and publicity for the non crypto crowd. And the crypt crowd doesn't need publicity, they already know about us, they need Mintpal and Cryptsy! Scrypt is dead, not profitable over electric costs. Scrypt-n coins are at the top of the profitability lists now (though not by much), and I bet soon the multipools will have to go to scrypt-n, keccak, x11, etc. pools to stay competitive and profitable for people as Scrypt Asics are here and will be crazy powerfull this summer.

I agree with this. I think a friendly section that makes it clear it is ok to not know how/where to get GPU coins. And if you do not know then the info is there. Mining, exchanges, forum threads, miner optimization, etc.

Site looks good - You REALLY need to put on there that the price per card changes with the market value of the GPUcoin automatically (or so I see it updating).. It gives no incentive for people to elevate the price per GPU if they think that the cost in gpu's is static... as a matter of fact it puts them in the mindset of thinking they need to find cheaper GPUCoin... this is the internet you know...
