Again, I can't fathom you pro-asic people's logic when it comes to GPUs. When ASICs are in use, GPUs become useless. I'm not talking value of the coin, I'm talking value of mining hardware. What is the point of BUYING GPU cards when you can't make PROFIT from a GPU card??? Only gamers will be left if ASICs take over again. Fucking seriously, how do you not get this?  New alt currency idea! Maybe we should make ASICC; ASIC Coin! Buy ASICs from a store with it.  Asics will not be able to mine GPUC. In their current configuration asics will only be able to mine plain scrypt coins like LTC and DOGE. They will not be able to mine scrypt-N, scrypt-jane, X11 or hefty1. There may at some time in the future scrypt miners for these other coins but that is a long way off. Yes, but people are arguing that GPUC should be Scrypt, that ASICs would HELP us. When the point is PRO GPUs... just no logic involved with this argument. GPUC is not going to scrypt under any foreseeable circumstances so there is no argument IMHO. People that can't deal with that need to just move on. No one knows how asics will effect coins they can't mine and only time will tell. I have my opinions but I'll keep them to myself for now. I broke my crystal ball. Its sgminer, not cgminer. |

What exchange is a good one to buy on? I just saw cryptorush is having issues.
Poloniex, but theres not much volume at any of the exchanges. |

I bought into the IPO and I'm amazed that it has gone this far(i wont disclose whether i still have my coins or not). The store looks great!! The prices are what I would expect. I'm really glad to see that a business coin can do well if the right plan if put behind it, and i hope to see many more(im not saying GPUC is going to do well, that remains to be seen)(im saying the community wants to make it work and if the plan is sound it will work). do u guys know what is the best setting for 270 (x)? I cannot get anything past 160 kh/s .
is it normal that WU less than kh/s on 290 non x? I got 420 kh/s and WU 319 m/s.
is it normal that WU less than kh/s on 270x? I got 186 kh/s and WU 140-150 m/s.

I am getting tired of losing money on GPUCoin. I was picking up coins throughout the week because I wanted enough to buy a toxic, and now it looks like the day of the sale the price has shot down. I am very upset. I have been an investor with GPUCoin since the beginning, and am getting screwed over again and again. I lost a lot of money with the IPO, and now am losing money with the store. I don't see how people are supposed to buy enough coins on the market, with the lack of liquidity, to buy one of the cards from the store. Obviously buying throughout the week is not going to work. I paid over 8 satoshi for my GPUCoins. What sucks is GPUCoin and Jaymes will make money regardless, and they apparently do not care at all for investors. This is why they take absolutely no action to fix the problems. |
