Really, lets get past this already. The IPO ~70BTC. You did see the stack of GPUs that Jaymes posted, right? You did see the 3BTC buy that got this coin listed at cryptorush, right?
Just how much IPO fundage do you think there might be left that you must incessantly whine that no one is holding your hand onto a major exchange and then right onto easy street?
Everyone else seems to be on board with the thought that we have to do this ourselves. Jaymes has already put like 10X more into this coin than anyone else, so please, quit begging for more from him.
The votes at mintpal have been going amazingly well IMHO. It's just that it is a long assed hill to climb.
The whiners are the ones that can't seem to rest easy dumping their coin at the current price, instead of being pleased to be buying the coin at this amazingly good price.
As for shipping costs, well guys, ain't everybody can make deals with UPS for their own custom shipping rates, as newegg does. I previously bought a r7 240 and it arrived in a priority mail flat rate box. IMHO opinion a good, economical, safe, and expedient shipping option. If anyone else has connections to get better shipping I'm quite sure the store would love to hear about it.
I also see that a couple more cards have sold at the store, amazing that currently the cheapest 280x toxic on the planet that I'm aware of isn't selling like hotcakes at breakfast time.

GPUC has been holding steady around the 5-6 spot on CoinWarz for the last couple hours.  That is the best advertisement...

Just wondering what an accidental "fork" looks like.  Because I've never seen this before - it's from gpu.dedicatedpool.com

Round Shares Submitted shares since last found block (ie. round shares)
Est. Shares   4,486 (done: 8696.66%)

I've seen 400%, 500% but never 8,000% +

Mostly will just show up as orphan blocks.

BTW, in case anyone didn't know. The r7 240 that the store sells for only $29 (newegg.com was selling for $69 + $5 shipping) is the only new chip recently released by AMD other than the Hawaii 290 and 290x. It has true audio enabled, directx 11.2, and with a second r7 240 card on the same motherboard you can enable crossfire without a hardware bridge, just like the 290's. It draws less than 75w at load and therefore does not need any PCIE power connectors, it takes what it needs straight from the PCIE bus. My point is, when crossfired, it should be a great entry level budget gaming solution, and, totally unrivaled performance at this price point. I'm putting one together for the kids this week.

noooooooooooooo. im going to miss this crazy 300$ sale. hate getting paid on the day of a btc type deadline, cuz its hard as hell (or impossible/very risky) to get BTC same day. Well some people should be very happy. Ill be holding my coins and buying at this cheap rate. Go GPUC!

Underwhelmed by lack of change on the exchanges despite the sale.  Undecided

Check out this site for legit free BTC. It's like an hourly free lottery ticket that always pays out at least 300 satoshi, and could net you over .3 BTC if you're really lucky. Just gotta fill out a captcha each time. (basically a faucet with chance of real reward)

Agreed, a higher volume exchange is what we should be shooting for right now, you could have a 30 second commercial on the O'Reilly Factor or some other prime time tv slot and no one would buy this coin without a more widely used and respected place to trade it.

A problem I'm seeing is that it's difficult for someone outside of the cryptocommunity to get involved in this. Without new blood I don't see how support is going to happen. Simple example, there's no easy way to convert fiat directly into gpuc. There's also massive dumping on ebay for a lot of amd mining cards, especially 7xxx series making for some really competitive pricing. Someone looking to get those cards at a bargain would likely go there before even considering gpucoin store since they don't have to bother going from fiat->btc->gpucoin nonsense.

Yeah.. it seems the biggest factor is that GPU mining is dying... ah well, it was a good run Smiley

You must make a video for ordinary people, how to make Fiat-> field-> gpucoin
Also needs massive advertising, money spent on it will be repaid with interest !

GPU mining isn't dying it's just going to suck for a while until other PoWs become established.  In the meantime there will be a shitload of used mining equipment which could be bought/sold using GPUC...  if it weren't sitting in single satoshi's that is.

Hi all! Are these the cards that are sold in gpucoin store? Found a sweet local deal on them. If they're not, is it worth picking these for mining? What would be hashrates for them on known algos? thanks in advance.
