It's so unfortunate that scammers are everywhere  looking for innocent people to dupe.... I wonder why there is no regulatory body to flush out the cheats... As long as  crypto still remains like dis, everyone must stay guided and be careful in order not to fall victim of them

I have experience such a thing before and I think it is hard to deal with it, the best way to go about it is that we the community members will be helping the bounty managers to catch the cheaters, once you see any cheat, then report it to the bounty manager.

Yes, from fraudsters in Crypto-currency nobody is insured. So, that is just before choosing a crypt or company. Do not rush to invest. And everything should be carefully thought out and weighed against possible risks.

I had so many times when in the same campaign I registered my articles several times under different names and wallet. this is extremely unfair. I wrote at that time to the manager of the bounty and the fraudster was blocked. but I don't think that it affects them somehow. they just go to another campaign and do the same thing there

For bounty cheaters, You just have to report it to the Bounty manager. I also experienced the same thing. Someone sign up in a twitter campaign and telegram campaign using my bct username and link but he attached it with a different twitter and eth address.

Send PM to bounty manager and don't forget to report this cheater to DT member by creating a thread in Reputation section. This cheater will get a red trust as a gift as soon as you create a thread to report him to DT member Smiley. Don't forget to collect enough evidence to report him.

but he is using my btc profile.  So how he will be get punished.?
does that mean he is using your account? or just imitate your profile for his own benefit?
if he only imitates and uses your profile, there should still be an opportunity to report to the moderator, of course you have clear evidence.

Each campaign I join. I see hundreds of cheaters. The only way to stop the guy is to manage the bounty. He needs to hide the necessary information in the spreadsheet. To protect the bounty hunter

I reported my cheaters, i received emails and still do, comfirming a ref that was under someone elses name, but using my email.  Someone was doing this for various drops, each time i get those mails, i resend an email, clearly stating that it wasn't my name on the ref but only my email.
Wait and see, i did join the airdrops after, seems the one using my mail was picking good drops, hopefully, the drops come through now, because of the multi-email join.

I met with some instances when some other  person using my credentials working for an ICO telegram.  I only came to know about that cheater when I also applied for the same ICO telegram and  reported to the bounty manager.
today I also found some cheater who has applied for twitter campaign using my btc profile.

If someone cheating the campaign for earning rewards wi be definitely fall under scammers so you can go to scam accusation section with appropriate proof that you are the actual owner of thatntwitter then he will get red trust as well he will be disqualified from the campaign.

Sorry this happened to you bud. Someone also used my email address to join an airdrop. My only mistake is using my main email and I've learned my lesson.

Well, reporting them is pretty much the only solution. If he is using your name in a campaign of which you are not a part of, you really dont loose anything, but if there are two identical entries on the sheet, reporting him to the bounty manager would solve the problem.

It's too bad to know about that but it's kinda hard to stop the cheater from doing that, for that to stop, every member of the community should put hands together and work to make that to stop, and we can do this by not only focusing and on bounty alone, we can from time to time check some certain things and report any foul play, that way, it could be reduce to the barest minimum

I think the best way to go about this is that there will be a central bitcointalk database that will house all the cheater in any particular bounty, anything any one cheats, the name is added there, then other bounties and other can always check the database for the cheaters, most times they will discover a cheater in one bounty and the cheater will go free and enter again bounty freely,

there is not much we can do besides report it, it is really sad to see there are many bounty cheaters because in addition to harming the bounty hunters it will also lower the image of bounty and if it keeps happening then it could be this will make the bounty is not held anymore and of course it will be very disadvantageous especially for someone like me who can only be a bounty hunter

I also see cases like you the cheater took the record bitcointalk of me to sign up. I'm also very confused about this issue. Only Pm for bounty manager. Hope will be the best solution

Dealing with cheater on this forum should be a collective effort and it should not be left for admins or the bounty managers, all of us have a role to play in keeping this forum cheating free, so anytime if you find a cheater, you repeat the cheater and inform the community, so that they will be aware.

I have seen a lot of scammers who are involved in the bounty. And it's not pleasant to me, I think this should be dealt with somehow.

I think the best way to deal with cheater here is for the admin to open a thread meant special for exposing cheater, the thread should be pinned on the home page, so they will make that if any find out a cheater and report it then the person will earn some merit, doing this will make the members to hunt cheaters the way they hunt for bounty.
