So if devs implement it now,EXE will 'First stealth addresses wallet'?

Devs,Can you speak something about progress of implement of stealth addresses?

They need to wait for the Vertcoin Devs to implement this so they can copy pasta it.
Troll... the EXECoin devs have been quite active, and EXE saw many firsts in nscrypt development.  Vertcoin still doesn't have a lite java wallet as far as I know, for example.

Bullshit, vtc has the same java wallet as execoin - done by the same dev, the same dude that also did the wowdoge wallet, there was absolutely no development involved by the execoin "dev" - you really dont want to know what shady shit happened there just so execoin could release it first, if you want to know ask the dev of that wallet.

The project was funded and paid by vertcoinmarket and is called vertigo wallet.

Would be nice if this were true since competition is always good for the market.

But the past has shown that EXE Devs are not able to make development on their own. So announcing the stealth addresses after VTC did is just another example for this.

Hi all

Some opinions please.  I currently have 2 Sapphire Dual-X R9 280x cards that I right now arranging to be send back to Amazon due to failing cards on 2 of the original 3 I bought, so I'm now going to be needing some new cards.  I've been mining Execoin for weeks, months even now cos I like the idea and the Devs seem to be involved etc.

Suggestions on good mining cards... especially for cards that don't have failing cooling fans in less than 6 months use. I think I'm only getting 2 this time as trying to put 3 in a HAF-XB case meant they ran at 70+ and an 80+ temp. I guess I'm looking at 280x cards maybe 290x depending on monies, I still haven't paid for my rig since prices crashed with the bitcoin price fall in recent month so I'm not over joyed with the prospect of paying out a lot more

Thoughts?

Good news is the gpu prices have come down, bad news is earnings have also... My understanding is that for the 280x series Asus has the best cards; the Toxic is also good (I think people say it is louder).  The Asus has a low clock speed than the Toxic out of the box, but I hear it overclocks really well and makes up the difference.  I have a vapor-x 270x that I got on sell and it runs well and stays really could, so you could also consider getting 3 or 4 270x gpu's (probably a better choice than going 290(x) right now).

Send them back to Amazon for a refund... That will significantly help your ROI prospects. Or if you must mine go with one of the Nvidia 750Ti cards, much lower power consumption than the AMD cards, so you'll have less problems with cooling. You need more of them though.

Well I have considered giving up on the mining and selling the rig, but I live in hope of a ROI. other people have said about 750 ti.. I always thought AMD cards were best for mining, also not sure how to fit them to the rig yet. I've got risers I can use but its about having a place to put the card in a HAF-XB case has anyone used Sapphire Vapor-x cards?

I have a vapor-x 270x and it runs cool and hashes well, I get around 210-220 kHs.  I do get a few HW's a day, but still manage to average around 200 WU's.  I haven't used a 750 ti, but I understand that the new Maxwell architecture hashes well (I'm curious to see how the rest of the lineup does).

Since apple has revised their stance on cryptocoins, could we get an execoin app up?  First scryptn coin with an ios app...  Also what would it take to get added to the multicoin Facebook tipping app?

OK so now what....

2 last 2 cards are being shipped back to Amazon due to failing fans. I have either the opportunity to sell the rig and get out of the business of mining or I have to buy new GPU.  I only have a case (HAF-XB) not a large multi-card rig and it seems if I use anything but buying 4 750ti cards I run in the red losing $0.50 per day, not much granted but still a loss.  I could look at either a couple of Sapphire R9 280x Vapor-x TRI-x cards which will run at about 360k/hs with a system 550w ish draw.  Or buy 4 750ti's that I might get 560k/hs out of with a system power draw of 300w ish, but the has rate is less, should I care?  its more efficient, but are the cards useful enough if I stop mining.  my Pc has a 6870 AMD card in it as it is, where as the Vapor-x would definitely be an improvement should I decide to stop mining and keep a card.

I'm almost tempted to give up as there is virtually no profit to be had, or should I go with the 750ti's for efficiency sake or a couple of Vapor-x's as the better hash rate will serve me well if the prices go up

Good question, Did you factor in that with 2 280x's you should get around 720 kHs?  It sounds like you factored in the power, but not the increase in hash... I'm planning to move my rig in with a friend back at te dorm because electricity is killing me (only about 10-15 cents at the moment after paying for power).  Your call, my first suggestion would be to make a friend (we're going to split the profit for a win/win).

What "shady shit" are you talking about?

"done by the same dev, the same dude that also did the wowdoge wallet"
- true, his name is Pavel, and there is absolutely no secret in this.

"there was absolutely no development involved by the execoin "dev""
- false. Exelite Java wallet is mostly user-level application using ExecoinJ Java library for all coin-specific operations. Everything related to the coin is in ExecoinJ Java library, wallet itself knows nothing about the coin, it has no idea about coin's parameters. ExecoinJ Java library was ported (and not from Vertcoin) entirely by our development team. Porting WowDoge wallet to Execoin would have been much easier task compared to ExecoinJ for our development team, but we decided that it would be better and more correct if original developer do it and provide a support and further development thereafter. That's why we did ExecoinJ and Pavel ported a wallet itself. Ask "the dev of that wallet". By the way,  Android wallet has been done by our team as well, and it's not based on Vertcoin wallet either.

"The project was funded and paid by vertcoinmarket and is called vertigo wallet."
- good to know! Exelite project was funded and paid partially from the donations of our supporters and partially from our own funds. Indeed, "if you want to know ask the dev of that wallet". Dedicated website http://exelite.org/ was created with our help but being maintained and hosted by Pavel now. Please make a donation to him, you may find his Execoin address for donations on exelite.org front page.

As for wallets. Let's compare https://paperwallet.vertcoin.org, http://paper.execoin.net and https://www.bitaddress.org
1. Vertcoin developers replaced copyrights of the original developers and (likely, but we are not 100% sure) replaced the donation address by their own.
2. Last tab -'Wallet details' - being used for conversion between key and address formats. Try Qt8yngFMGxpN5mYZ5S3HaorrcTGVTLAf34kVfAPBDJ1tfQyi29t6 on http://paper.execoin.net (valid Execoin private key, corresponding address ETeXsJnN87MyPGEHaM1VH2wgk8z19PicVq) and WZbtDqm5aFX6yyXyKQbjMhqWQomt1iXevwyMxuRTCSKkADEtP756 on https://paperwallet.vertcoin.org (valid Vertcoin private key, corresponding address Vt1mjajspSTKDHQdWZHK9qN4e1VpYiKRXx). Vertcoin's converter does not work at all.

Is it good idea to "copy pasta" this code? Not at all.
We wouldn't like to say that Vertcoin developers are not good, in fact, they are excellent (probably, they were very busy with more important things while creating their paper wallet, those issues with the paper wallet are not so important - in fact, seems like nobody even noticed). This is just to point out that our commitment is to improve and innovate.

We are not authors of the stealth addresses theory (Vertcoin developers are neither), and there are plenty of working implementations already, why anybody may want to wait until Vertcoin implements it? Absolutely no reason to.
Stealth addresses is a very interesting technology, and we are working on it on our own. We have no idea how Vertcoin will implement it, but our implementation likely will be different from theirs.
