can you break down, into detail, the steps being taken to complete the pool? What makes you say its a couple weeks away? I think some people would be more comfortable with such a long timeline if you could lay out… step by step… what you are doing and why it takes time. Of course when it comes to programming and coding, there can be many things that go wrong but still… i think seeing a timeline would be great
I just wanted to take a deep breath with the hope that i can relief some of painful tiredness sourced from never ending pool project. There are a lot of tests and things done on the pool at recent 3 months of development. We solved many problems. We can solve technical things but cant deal good with miner people. And we could not solve the biggest problem which is "keeping any miners long on the pool no matter what we do". People seems to get used to other pools and certain way of mining. So we started to make a new website and simpler one without config generator, live stats, payment stats etc. People are not buying or interested in with these (what we offered them) at all. It'll be simple payment with ECC according to the shares you send. And that's all. Hopefully next weekend all will be set. ECC Payments will be done daily and manually. This is the fastest way we can start. If we have enough miners we will improve pool and we get more and more efficient pool. I plan to put chat on the new pool so i or you can take care miners faster & better. |

ipominer... we all know that it is a multipool... but no multipool.. they search and hit "promising" coins... and almost 90% of the time.. they are correct..
i dont want to explain again..that 1mhas/day and the profit value.. remeber that most of the coins ipominer mined..were normal profit for a week, but after that...
if you could just hold and not panic like the 80% of the miners out there... the profit at the end of the week was much higher...
we dont need a multipool... just a good research with good evaluating-guessing power...
and not hour payouts... we are killing the same coins we want to mine for profit this way..
i dont think anyone could complain if for example for this week... and for 5 days
we wer mining cloakcoin, or LOL coin...or even vericoin...(1 month ago) which bytheway created an sms wallet... you can sent coins using a simple sms from any
phone. and they have an anonimizer which has coin control... you can choose which coins you want to stake, anonymize, or sent normally.
create a nomp pool.... use 3 main port... mining the coin of our community with voting... one scrypt one x11 and one x13...
every 2 weeks a coin is hyped.. see dark, black, cinni, xc, libertycoin, etc... this week is vericoin...
we can have another 10 coins.. as auxiliary..
every ten days or once a week.. we vote fo the next weeks -promising coins..this way the community participates 100% ... democracy pool...
we take the risk all together... all as one...
we keep the coins.. and we exchange it whenever we thinks its ok..
you can even charge 5% fees.. all the fees... you are responsible with a good stock market analyst or, a member who knows a little of trading art...
when to sell and convert to btc and then to ecc..
the rest of us... we have the freedom of buying ecc whenever we want.. cause for example this week i made some good profit and i want to pay the electricity...
so this week i keep the btc...
this will also display the strength of the community...but above all will finaly be the most advanced multipool... cause it will work with peoples choise...peoples instict..
peoples luck...and will be a god damned interensting... to see how good we play our cards....it will be on our hand whether we go up or not..
and do not ask for a donation for a nomp server cause right now i am hosting one a dual core with 1 gb of ram, and i am alive with 3 mpos-nomp stratum, 3 different coins, and one of them is being rapped by hashing power... and its working at 98% efficiency.

To speed pool development So far collected 1.8m ECC we have collected before more ECC for the hashco.ws multipool and it's online.
Is Hashco.ws still online for ECC? Are they aware that ECC is an LTC market now on mintpal? I've been mining ECC on hashco.ws for a while, and since the LTC change, haven't had any balance show up as ECC (single GPU - so not much). As the coin community leader, it might be worth you talking to them and seeing if they can still payout in ECC now that its not a BTC-based market? |

Well gentlemen.. We need ideas.. Clever ones... Fornexample in coin transaction.. What if we could cancel one? Like opening a dispute in paypal?? A middle platform.. Were the coin are hold temporarily.. Until the transactions of goods or services is verified.. And then released.
Nice idea! How about an extra tag in the wallet, stating the coin's price from the available exchanges? |

<sarcasm> But, but, we have a rich list now </sarcasm> This coin died when the multipool became like Microsoft releasing a new Windows version i.e. it'll be ready tomorrow / next week / next month / couple of months / eventually. Now the vaporware multipool needs donations in order to complete it, a day late and a dollar short I might add. Really, given the development track record, who's going to send donations? Think I'll put mine on a USB stick and see how long it takes me to blow it up at 200 yards with a .308 rifle. At least I'll get some entertainment value out of them that way. |

Since I'm really new to cryptocurrency, when I heard the news on ECC, I wanted to study what a coin that was dying behaves like (community, graphs, etc.)
Objectively, as an outsider, I see the following as some of the fundamental problems:
-It is unclear whether hostmaster is technically competent to develop the coin; however he doesn't seem to take into account other people's valid analysis of issues.
-The whole environmentally conscious branding has got to go. No one cares for it and it's a bit contrived and embarrassing to brand a coin that. Re-brand it.
-You need more technically competent devs
-The number of coins is simply too much. Reduce the staking.
-The public drama of the 'devs' has really hurt the coin
I'm not sure with my very limited experience, but I think you guys might be able to bandaid this by making it a popular alt coin to mine after removing the insane staking. Multipool isn't the only answer to this; you would have to place on the profitability charts (such as coinwarz). Remember, there are other multipools. You can raise value by having these multipools want to mine your coin. A lot of coins that are profitable to mine don't seem to have a long term future; meaning it's a good step to take for this coin since it's accessible, and if it works, will raise demand. I'm not sure if you can revert a coin back to being mine-able, though.
