I read that POS is insecure, does anyone know exactly what that means and does that apply to all POS coins including Mintcoin and ECC?

I thought pos is more secure than pow coin, it has better protection for 51% attack... |

PoS gives a different type of security. It is more secure in most cases, because a takeover of the network (like a 51% attack) requires ownership of the majority of the coins. If you own it , you own it anyway. |
