BLM wants Communism, they say so on their website without as many words. They are being enabled by Democrat mayors and governors, with the intention of making Trump look bad. If Trump is off the ticket, BLM would still work towards Communism, however Democrat mayors and governors would stop putting up with the riots in most of the country, and places like Portland would come under immense political pressure to put a stop to the lawlessness.

It started with lies from china and the WHO and now the statistics on it are currently inflated for many reasons..

True on China lying, no one is going to argue about that. Not sure on if we're able to blame the WHO though, their task is to distibute information from health experts of the many different countries in the world. They don't really have the resources to go into a country and independently verify all of the information that is out there.

If we want them to do that, we should set them up with the task of that. Who knows how certain countries are going to react about that though (China, Russia, etc)

Trump isn't expected to be an infectious disease expert, though it's expected for the President to listen to his advisors. Plus -- Not supposed to promote things (medical) that dont work.

I'm not convinced that things would've played out much differently if China had been completely transparent (something nobody would ever expect them to do).

The whole world knew that in Jan China locked everyone down, started frantically building hospitals and shooting stray dogs.  

In Feb and March we watched it spread through Europe, not too concerned.

And then April comes and you know the rest.

Is there really anything China could've told us in Dec/Jan  that would've had a bigger impact than watching a bunch of other countries go through it in real time over a 3 month period?

They would've had to of been very confident that it would hit us a few months later.  AND We would've had to convince us to self inflict economic damage.  So many things would need to go right.

If they got the time frame wrong, for example, and told us it was coming in Feb, after a couple weeks everyone would just be screaming that China was just playing the 'why are you hitting yourself' game with America.

I think the problem on China lying is that we could've shut down travel with China (either coming directly from China, or who were there recently) much earlier then it was done. Now while this isn't a foolproof plan, and a large amount of people still end up infected -- but it does limit how bad the initial outbreak is.

Then again: Who knows if we are to take the warning signs from China even if they're provided at face value. I'm just saying that if we knew about how horrible the death and destruction was and how infectious this disease was, we probably would've been able to do something quicker. Or at least had that opportunity.

Not only did Chinas lies dupe policy makers, it stopped the medical health experts from being able to make a determination on what to do next.

The deck was stacked against us because of Chinas lies.

Yeah, you can tell he really isn't looking to his advisors and the medical experts (Fauci, CDC health experts, etc) just by the way he's been talking about the virus. I would assume (and hope) that an advisor has told him that people don't begin to die from the Coronavirus instantly, it takes 3-4 weeks or so.

If Donald Trump said something along the lines of "We're going to be taking this a week at a time, and if deaths start to go up across the country in 3 weeks we know that we need to change our course" Then we'd know that he is doing the right thing.

He's so entrenched in not wanting to understand how this works and everything going back to normal that he really is just looking like a fool right now.

I have my doubts that most of America is going to want to vote for this type of extremism. These types of statements are going to make whoever is choosing Biden's VP to move away from Harris.

I continue to have my doubts that Trump will stay in the race. Heis doing especially poorly with his messaging, particularly regarding coronavirus. I am not sure if he was getting bad information, or what happened, but he should not have said that coronavirus was going to "just go away". His messaging regarding Faucci is only undermining his own credibility.

Republicans in general were caught flat footed in responding to the riots, and corresponding propaganda. There is an average of 3 police shootings per day, and it was just a matter of time before one was caught on video by a bystander who posted it to social media to go viral. I think Trump's biggest mistake of his presidency was not sending troops into MN to stop the riots before they spread throughout the country. This is basically what stopped similar riots from spreading in 2016 in NC, and in 2015 in MD, except republican governors moved quickly instead of federal troops.

I have received 11 fundraising emails from the Trump campaign over the past 24 hours, and close to a dozen text messages, all asking for campaign contributions. It is clear the Trump campaign is trying to increase contributions. They are well ahead in terms of cash in the bank, but have been lagging in terms of money coming in each month.

Biden has an eutheusiam problem. About 2/3 of his supporters want to vote against Trump as opposed to vote for him. The Democrat convention is also before the Republican convention, so Biden will have been nominated before the GOP candidate will have been nominated. This also means the Democrat convention will be full of speeches talking about "Orange man bad". I think if Trump is not ahead of Biden by the GOP convention, the GOP should nominate someone else, keeping their identity secret until the last minute, this will allow the GOP to catch the Democrats flat-footed in the propaganda war.

In Los Angelos, the teachers union are demanding the Police be defunded, Medicare for all, higher taxes on the wealthy, a ban on new Charter schools (their competition) in order for their teachers to return to the classroom. This is all about the health and safety of the children, right?

The recent Twitter hack should benefit Trump and/or whoever the Republican candidate ends up being (and Republicans in general). The hack has damaged Twitter as a communications institution, and will have diminished its credibility. Twitter has been a tool to propigate left wing propaganda. The latest hack was very obvious to most, but it could happen again in a more subtle way that may cause more damage to Twitter. It appears Twitter put too much effort into making sure their codebase was "antiracist" and not enough effort into making sure it was secure.

It made me furious at times, even in a small town in the country.. I can't imagine what city school must be like..

When I (hopefully eventually) have my own some day, no way I'm feeding them through that sheep shearing mill they call public "education" turning them into degenerates..
