There are dozens of photos and personal data that calls itself Satoshi, if you look at the photo he is in his 60s.

The one you're referring on that popular image of satoshi is Dorian Nakamoto not satoshi nakamoto.

Also, the birthdate is just theory or something the community had come up and it was based on his profile on p2pfoundation but that doesn't justify that is his real birthday.

Don't you wonder that what if you publicize your own identity and you are the maker of the greatest digital currency ever made that already made numerous people multi billionaire? Then no one would even know who Satoshi Nakamoto is and it will be forever a mystery. Also, the picture that indicates the dates seemed from wikipedia, which most already knew that it can be edited by anyone, and even you can make you own wikipedia story. Therefore, as most would say, that wasn't satoshi freakin nakamoto.

Dorian Nakamoto is not Satoshi Nakamoto. He was an engineer but was not working for a long time at that moment.

It is not misled at all because the author said it is claimed, so it make sense that the author did not confirm Dorian Nakamoto as Satoshi.

Did a bit of searching and digging around and just completely assumed that the listed birthday on the  Wiki page was Dorian Nakamoto's. Whoops.

I have one but the article in question seems to be under severe restrictions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Satoshi_Nakamoto, so I would exersize caution editing it. In particular, I won't blatantly remove the offending information as I'm not sure whether that's not ban-worthy, but the most appropriate action would be for me to raise these points on the talk page I just linked.

If you really want to wish Satoshi Nakamoto a happy birthday, you should consider the following reasons:

• No one knows for sure who Satoshi Nakamoto really is. No details were disclosed regarding the country of birth, date and year of birth.
• Many people say that Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym (individual or group) and until now many people have been investigating about the makers of bitcoin but the results have not been found.
• If you really want to say something to Satoshi Nakamoto like happy birthday, then say the day when Bitcoin was introduced (January 3) and that way we appreciate it or use your free time every day for 365 days to wish you a happy birthday, then I can make sure you have successfully said it on the right day between 365.

I am not sure what is revealed in the references you find about the figure of Satoshi Nakamoto and I will not waste time looking for this truly extraordinary figure because everyone here appreciates it in their own way.

Actually we don't know the real who is the real Satoshi who created the Bitcoin. So if anybody who wants to celebrate this Dorian Nakamoto will not get much attention from this community. So better to celebrate    November 19, 2009 when the satoshi registered in this forum than celebrating this Dorian Nakamoto's birthday.

Yeah right but we cant considered it as his birthday but a day which is become a known user of the forum. But celebrating this date could also served as one important yearly date to commemorate his achievement and contributions to us all here.

We are celebrating Dorian Nakamoto's Birthday and not Satoshi Nakamoto. He said it already in an interview a long time ago that they don't have any connections with each other.

One thing more, I don't see any significant reason why we should celebrate the birthday of somebody which we doesn't even know.

I just like the fact that nobody knows Satoshi Nakamoto, that is why bitcoin is fully decentralized. Talking about the birthday, can you know the date of birth of someone you do not know. Many people claimed to be Satoshi and many people has been claimed to be Satosh but the fact remain unknown. That, nobody known Satoshi Nakamoto maybe he is a single person or group of individual. So, claiming today is his birthday is 100% wrong and 0% right.
