You don't strictly need it.. but I use it in my conf file, since it helps with backing up wallet.dat

It has to do with the risk of "change" wallet addresses, that are the result of inputs.. actually it's a pretty big issue that no one talks about.  I highly recommend using it, on the cold wallet i have keypool=1000

Diff is going down. I don't know what is best atm. Continue mining solo, or just use a pool. I only have 1 mh/s.

Facebook ad promotion campaign also started (obviously since we're heavily dependent on facebook, marketing to them only).. Though this is somewhat burning a hole in my wallet since it's USD.

Development side is focusing on integrated block explorer and web wallet..
