I can not find where to set the unit for my bitcoin. I checked two places: Preferences and Bitcoin wallet.
I would like to change it from m₿ to BTC. How to change this setting? I would prefer to see my balance in BTC, not mBTC.

No, you can't find it in the setting. Simple way is you must write in memory, 1 mBTC = 100,000 satoshi = 0.001 BTC.

I guess so when I can not find that setting option anywhere. If your confirmation is true, the  Futuur team can consider about it. Maybe it is me with my preference to see my balance in BTC. Even it is 0.005 BTC, I am more familiar with it and would prefer to have an option to switch from mBTC to BTC for my balance display.

I admitted that I know about the bitcoin units: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Units but I sitll feel not comfortable with it.

It is not an impossible modification and it is about convenience.

Plus one for this. I agree. I am also confused sometimes with mBTC. That is not the usual unit used outside gambling platforms. Mostly, it is being used in gambling but since a lot are more exposed to just pure BTC or Satoshis as units then it should just be provided as an option. That's to avoid confusion that might amount to a different bet unintentionally.

I think the reason why mBTC is being commonly used among betting platforms is that Bitcoin's price is now very high. It is not expected that gamblers will be betting whole BTC or even 0.5 BTC or lower. It is expected that majority of the gamblers will be betting with mBTC amounts

Everyone predicts that BTS will grow and approach $100,000 or even more.  Then 1 mBTC will be = $100, because now it is = $50+.  
This unit of measurement BTC should be gradually reduced by an order of magnitude or two, or even three.  Maybe it is already necessary to switch to microBTC.  I'm not talking about Satoshi, they are still too small for use in serious gambling.  But let's see, I think the community itself will soon begin to use something like microBTC.

Later on we cannot avoid using smaller units under Bitcoin. In gambling especially where amounts usually played are relatively smaller, mBTC will prove to be too high. For now we can of course make use of fractions of mBTC such as 0.5 mBTC or 0.1 mBTC which amount to 0.0005 BTC or 0.0001 BTC respectively.

If Bitcoin's price will rise to as high as $100,000, it is not at all bad to use sats like 1k sats or 500 sats.

I wonder what kind of bettor will have the heart to spend money earned from betting on people's misery. If a bettor bets on increased death rate and the death rate increases, his/her earning could be considered blood money. Better not to reward that kind of prediction..

Well, you do have a point when it comes to moral things but people who do bet into those increasing deaths wouldn't really be taking this as a serious issue when it comes to moral aspects.

This is just business and as long they can make money with it then it wouldn't matter but lets not hope for those increase of deaths.

I tried to post this👇last month(26/02/2020) but had some network issues, so I saved the post for another opportunity.


Wish the betting is more solution/skill-based than mere betting . I have noticed couple of things that could be abused if safe bet isn't practiced. I wouldnt encourage betting on events that can result to problems rather than solve problems. For example: "Will earth be destroyed next 5 years?"  , "Will another deadly disease/disaster happen next year?", etc.
Yesterday I perceived that people who bet on future problems will be tempted to see them come true just to win their bets. I have previously warned that desperate people could even encourage the  problems just to win their bet or people would be divided/split along what they bet for and we will have the kind of things that happen in politics where people are divided along what choose to side rather than unite for common solutions.

That's nice, reducing the withdrawal fee. Probably they did it because of the current value of bitcoin? When my balance is on my Futuur wallet, the price of bitcoin was below $20,000, that time, the withdrawal fee is already at 2mBTC. Probably it would be better if the fee that the provider takes for withdrawals should also be decreased a little bit. Just my opinion, but I'm fine with everything for Futuur.

Yeah actually i have been mentioning that for few times here that the fee is really high though it is best for High withdrawals as it is fixed and not affected when the congestion happens in Bitcoin transactions .


One thing is when will be other coins available for depositing ? i believe that this has Been discussed months ago yet no confirmation from the team?

It will helps small time gamblers to Put their funds in which not affected of High transaction fees now .

Yeah actually i have been mentioning that for few times here that the fee is really high though it is best for High withdrawals as it is fixed and not affected when the congestion happens in Bitcoin transactions .

I choose BTC as a unit in my wallet and honestly I have to pay a little second to think of mBTC when I checked my account. Although I know that the mBTC unit is used by gambling sites but it won't harm if the Futuur team consider to give users 2 options. Who like BTC unit, choose it and who don't like it, let's choose mBTC unit. It can be integrated as optional preferences for users.

It is what gamblers prefer. They would prefer to use small altcoins as Dogecoin to bet with hundred or thousand of Dogecoin rather than choose 1 mBTC to bet. Big quantity looks more attractive than small quantity no matter how much does it cost.

I remember one time that I badly need my Funds and check it for withdraws and suddenly my remaining Funds(Because of Multiple Losses in Bets) is 0.002Bitcoin and since the Fee is 0.4 mB i almost Got nothing to take so all i have to Do is sell all my remaining Bets just to get decent withdraws .

Having an Option is the best idea for the benefits of Both the Site provider and us gamblers who's playing in their site constantly .

they already lowered their min withdrawal amount, so i think they will find a way also to include the options for withdrawing, just like what i suggested above (slow or fast, low or high priority). whatever they can come up with, at least provide an option as it will greatly help for small time rollers. in this way, they may attract more bettors. and those small time players, once you combined the revenue coming from them, you will be surprised how much you can get from them.

Sorry mate but what's wrong in asking a prediction about the potential death counts?

My friend, I wonder how you will feel if those kind of predictions are done on your love ones or people you deeply care about. Would you tolerate it especially if the predictors benefit financially from your misery?
By the way, if predictions like that become necessary, qualified people should be used and they must be precised as possible, plus give sufficient and well researched reasons for their predictions, so we don't have people carelessly betting on "millions will die" for selfish gain.

Yups and actually I already thought of that also I just forgot to mentioned and Good that you Open this mate , This will help their site to gain more players because they only accept Bitcoin now as depositing materials things that will be harder for Low cost gamblers to comply because they will think first of the Withdrawal fee when exiting if given a chance to win small time.

Accepting USD would be of great benefit to the site coupled with the fact that, the football leagues available isn't enough. There is a need r more and more leagues, the established one at most that are futuring and competing international. It gives countrymen the chance to be more open minded on betting on games or teams that they are locally involved with. This stands as a limitation to the site and should be checked out as it would go a long way to encourage more participation.
There should also be a compilation bet system in place, these little things do add up and would yield good result for Future.com
