GG and well done to Team Falcons, they're secured now as top 3 and will be facing Tundra Esports.

Dang, I didnt expect Falcons to get 2-0 against Tundra though. I thought it would be pretty close, I had my expectation on them to atleast win a single map especially after they won on the upper bracket playoff

Anyway, I made this bet after Falcons won their 1st map, odds are still good and now 2 more win for Falcons without losing would be great



Betboom leading the 2nd map with first 10 kills though so its pretty interesting right now because Falcons rarely lose on early game

Anyway , I'm happy for Cr!t as his talent was wasted for too long along RTZ and he literally carried 1st map against BB from pos 4.

Cr1t is also happy for himself when he's able to get these championships again.

So it looks as if @arallmuus had a win with Team Falcons taking the win this weekend aswell.

So, with this, Team Falcons has once again won another title from this tier 1 tournament.

Also, this is their second tournament win in the ESL Pro Tour, and BetBoom is cursed with another second-place finish.

Exactly, it seems that these curses are being passed on to the other teams since the glory days of the new teams are coming in like for Team Falcons.

I've seen an image with a caption that sneyking was asked and told that RTZ should move elsewhere, in different region to experience some winning just like what he and cr1t did.

Yeah I won that one, it was quite a gamble though especially after the 1st map. I did make a similar bet on the previous tournament with XG making reverse sweep against Falcons to win the whole tournament. The odds was incredibly generous as well, I didnt expect betting -2.5 after they won the 1st map would be 2.8 though. I guess with ESL has been concluded, Im going to spend my time on cs2 for now instead atleast until next major tournament next month lol

That upset from XG reminded me to avoid taking the map spread, so I only went with the match winner @1.5, which isn't bad.  Still, i'm glad for Team Falcons' completing the lower bracket since they mostly saved my bankroll after a disastrous betting in the groups.

With the ESL Pro League currently ongoing I might dabble into some CS2 bets too, and maybe include League (MSI starts in a few days) while waiting for the PGL tournament in a couple of weeks.

I hope we have some Apex Legends fans here because the ALGS winners bracket is about to start in a couple of minutes and once again , I'm ready to cheer for my favorite team TSM ( I also have their banner in the game ) and hopefully they can go back 2 back 2 back champions as that will simply make this record unbeatable! Also , eyes on Alliance and DarkZer0 because both teams are having insane skills and they are those teams who could dominate from start to finish an entire lobby.

However , I think in the next year Apex will finally make it into esports betting and when this happens , I will be there betting and cheering for my favorites but until then , I do hope TSM will once again lift the trophy and won't let DarkZer0 beat them. Yeah they were mentioning it was mostly tier 2 teams, so something to that effect causing the reason why it was complete ass!

We'll see if they'll pick him up after the tournament since it looked like the guys from Nigma Galaxy (Sumail and GH) are officially filling in the missing pieces for Shopify Rebellion. It'll be interesting to see the old EG duo Arteezy and Sumail back together once again.

First game of the tournament has just begun with Aurora vs Mouz and I don't know how Mouz qualified for this because they are clearly a tier 3 team without any lan experience and it might be a quick 2-0 for Aurora. Also , all the games are BO3 so even if 3 games are what fans expect , I have a feeling we will see a lot of 2-0.

However , my favorites G2 can't catch a break on both games as yesterday G2 lost in CS2 and they were eliminated against Mouz after a fair faight in Bo3 and today it seems G2.IG is having a hard time against Secret ? Like come on , we all know Secret is by far a tier 3 team right now and with low chances to actually qualify further but same goes for G2.IG who are 0-2 so far and they need to win this 3rd map if they want to still have chances to qualify... .

It's very hard to be a fan of G2 no matter what competition you're following as I've found out they also lost on LOL .

Been to busy enjoying the first weekend where I am where there is sun and it isn't raining, so no, didn't watch any of the PL matches.
Easier to watch every one of these tournaments each weekend in the winter when it's so cold to go out.
Once we get bored of the heat and sun tanning at the beach, then will catch the next one coming up!

This is quite shocking to hear actually. Especially from the heavy favorites not putting scratch to MOUZ.
They were the ones to take G2 out of the tournament from what I recall remember from your post on here earlier in the tournament. So they are the new misfit team to be the worldbeater in CS2 all the sudden?
What changed? Any shuffling in their roster or did they just get lucky like most one and done teams in these majors?

That upset was unreal from Mouz, they didn't look that convincing throughout the playoffs, while Vitality looked like the best team at this tournament, only to underperform in the grand finals. I had Vitality in my pre-live tickets, then switched midway through the series after they looked flat at the first map and grabbed their -2.5 map handicap @3.00 odds.

No roster changes happened between Mouz, but based on their team page, they did get Xyp9x as their assistant coach. They did get lucky with the series against Vitality, but still, they've always been a top team, it's just they're lacking the experience because of their young roster.

I am also enjoying the game, I'd wait for the playoffs to come. We've got 3 days left including today and last day is on Wednesday for the group stages.

Basically Falcons -1.5 seems like the best strategy ever on the group stage

Well actually I did pretty bad on the final so I probably ended up making only a little after losing big time on the final. I made -2.5 and -1.5 on Vitality to win, yep I got greedy and I thought this would be an easy win given how dominant Team Vitality was.

Thinking this back I guess my decision was plain stupid there and instead of taking -1.5 on Vitality after taking -2.5, I should have gone with MOUZ +1.5 instead or probably just go with MOUZ to win as countermeasure on my first bet. So yeah small amount of profit overall from ESL Pro League so good enough for me
