Im shocked that Ajax lost to RFS its like losing to a team thats a few leagues below you. This loss from Ajax ruined my bet i was thinking that Ajax was a sure win against such a bad team. This is the 3rd defeat for Ajax in the European League in a row 2 defeats can be understood for playing against strong teams but the last defeat is really disappointing.

Unfortunately we failed to defeat Lyon yesterday. It is really sad to get only 1 point by a score like 0-0 from this match. We could have done more but we wasted many goal chances generously. If only En-Nesyri had a better day we could have won. He wasted important chances as well. Now we are in a really dangerous position in the Europa League standings. Being 23rd with 9 points is very risky right before the final matches. Our last match is an away one against Midtjylland. We must win that match to secure ourselves through playoffs.

Yeah, for a long time they were great, but last season they finished fifth and looked terrible, so everyone assumes that they are bad. But looking at the situation right now, the yare just one point behind the leader, and could win the title this season, so the yare not that bad. This RFS loss came out of nowhere, I haven't made a big detailed research into this, but if anyone knows anything about Ajax, could anyone tell us if they played their bench and young players instead of their starters or something?

Maybe that could be the reason and because of that we are going to probably see them have a big change without a doubt. I get that they are not really that crazy at the moment, they are unhappy that they lost this game, but if they didn2t play with their starters then that could mean that they are not that bad. But if they played with their starters, then Ajax losing to RFS is definitely not an acceptable result at all, it's a very disappointing one.

IIRC it all started when they finally hit bad luck with selling all their players, which anyway they do a lot, and then some scandal with management and at the same time their competitors got better but yeah I guess Ajax is Ajax and they're back near the top. I can't tell you if they played with their first team or not, totally unfamiliar with them since they dropped from Champions league.

Personally I think its good to see new names in the mix. Ajax can stay in Europa for all I care

As my team Fenerbahçe are among these teams as well at least I won't have any trouble in which match to watch. We have an away match against Midtjylland. Our opponent has similar statistics to us. This is the point that we should make use of. We have recently made new transfers for our defense too. I don't know how many of them will have a place for themselves tonight yet. But I hope we defend well and win to secure ourselves for playoffs.

It's going to be a very tough game since both teams would want to win so they could secure a spot in the top 24 I see a possibility of over 4.5 booking but I'll rather pick over 3.5 bookings if am to go with that options. As for the other match, Nice are at the bottom table whereas Bodo/Glimt are in the top 10 and despite being the visitors they'll show lots of threat to Nice I feel they'll win and both teams would score your analysis are great anyways I just cross-checked their stats according to your statement and it's accurate Nice would definitely be relegated but they won't do so without scoring. Anyways my pick for this week's Europa League matchday is Tottenham to win against  IF Elfsborg,  Manchester United to win or draw against Fotbal Club FCSB and Port to score o0.5 goal against M Tel-Aviv. Manchester United have a good run in the tournament they've not lost any game and they've shown signs of improvement in their last 3 matches so I believe they'll flow with their current form.

Porto gets to meet Roma in the playoff, personally that's my pick even though Roma are kinda shitty now, its still an ex winner vs ex winner, and both teams were managed by the same legend He himself gets to meet Anderlecht, should be an easy fight to go to last 16.

All other teams to me have one big favorite or none at all, but this I think is the best matchup if anyone is interested!

It was the same against Midtjylland as well last night. At least we were good in the attacking area otherwise we could have lost and said goodbye to the Europa League already now. Actually Braga could have still eliminated us but their last goal attempt was offside. If that was counted they were going to eliminate Fenerbahçe.

Anyway now we have made significant transfers for especially our defense area. I hope we get better as of playoffs.

Indeed! I expected an easier route for them but you know, in this format, a playoff spot is a playoff spot. Does add two more games to a packed schedule but Fener's been adding to their ranks so they should be all right.

We played a quite effective game that we didn't even let Anderlecht answer us. This was a solid 3-0 win for us at the end. I also think that we won't throw our chance just like that anymore. I have really missed watching my team play like this.

About Ajax I thought they would fail to win. Their odds were also increasing near the match time. Lastly Galatasaray were really destroyed by AZ last night. They played too badly while some important names were absent.

Even though Galatasaray started this match with a squad lacking quite many players the performance they showed wasn't acceptable. AZ absolutely deserved to win by a bigger gap.It is really surprising that a team becoming champions consecutively in the Turkish league by breaking point records showing a performance like this in European cups. Even though Galatasaray's arch rival Fenerbahçe are behind Galatasaray in the domestic league they are getting much better results than Galatasaray in European cups in the recent years. Maybe Mourinho is right about his complaints related to referees this time.

I really thought that after winning 1st leg away 0:2, Ajax advantage is safe and they won't  choke. But they did - conceding 2 goals in first half and red card which forced them to play 10 vs 11 for more than hour. We are heading to extra time, let's see what will happen there
Galatasaray had no illusion to make comeback. They were down 0:2 at home too and there is only a bit positive thing that they managed to achieve draw in this game.
After disaster of Italian clubs in Champions league, at least Roma didn't ended their journey jn Europa league early.
