Manchester United won’t be winning any trophy this season, and they will be ending the premier league at the bottom of the table.

That’s so unfortunate because they had talented players but they couldn’t perform as before, it feels like something is very odd inside the team management. Many stars that used to play very well, score or defend good, seeing them becoming full of mistakes and weaker performance, it’s like Manchester United becoming a graveyard of players, and the reason why Cristiano chose to leave or more specifically, they sent him off and the karma is hitting them hard.

The trophy was very close for them, they tried their best against a bottom team too, Tottenham wasn’t really good, missed multiple opportunities for a second goal, as much as United missed to draw the score.

Can't believe that from now all jokes about trophyless Tottenham is thing from past. That's final that won't be stuck in our minds because game wasn't most exciting and beautiful. But Spurs fans will remember it forever. Happy for them, after all I think that Spurs simply needed this trophy more than MU. Though, it's difficult to say that they were better team on pitch.
And that Vicario save was simply sick, haven't seen anything similar for very long. Such dedication without thinking about possible injury.

However, winning without having a chance to score ? that statistic is enough to get to the conclusion that it was an awful final and only luck from Spurs made them lift the trophy. Overall , it was a well deserved victory because it was about time for some players within that team to be champs.   ( Son really deserved it ).

It's a big win for Tottenham Hotspur that ends there trophy drought of 17 years. The Tottenham Hotspur fans now have something to cheer after seeing there disappointing performance in EPL. Both finalists of Europa League have done enough in EPL to avoid getting into relegation zone. Manchester United is at number 16 position on EPL with 10 wins while Tottenham is at 17th place in the table after losing 21 times this season.   The only goal of the game was scored in 42nd minute by Brennan Johnson and that gave Tottenham Hotspur fans a hope that there club has the ability to revive from this position.

This win definitely had some similarities with the famous Chelsea win at Munich, it was Chelsea second European final and they clinched it, same thing with Tottenham, this is there second European final after the champions league final loss to Liverpool and now they have an European trophy in their cabinet.

Alex Ferguson once said that “attack wins you games and defense wins you trophies” and Tottenham used that well today. They know they don’t have the creativity that they would want in this match and instead came with a game plan and executed it perfectly. Ange was brilliant not to play his usual high line football and Amorim wax stupid to fall into his trap. They got the goal and went into defending. Even though I blame some certain players for the defeat I think the fair share of the defeat falls on the manager because tactically he got it wrong and didn’t make corrections until last few minutes

I watched the game from the beginning to the end and I can tell you that there was nothing spectacular about what Tottenham played, that goal they had was a lucky opportunity that was obviously a mistake either ONANA or the defender that was with the Tottenham player Luke Shaw would have saved, unfortunately Manchester United could not equalize that goal. and after then, Tottenham didn't give an impressive style of play as a lot of people want to make it sound, in terms of quality play, I would go for Manchester United because they had a lot of opportunities especially towards the end of second half to score and they played better. United just need good finishers, their frontline is weak, but their midfield and defence is a bit manageable.

To be honest, I don't think Manchester United performance is considered them as a team that gave their best. Manchester United players were confident that they would beat Tottenham. Some of them said that because they had previously played at the Bilbao stadium, they could still defeat Tottenham, they was just making too many useless noises to disappoint their fans at the end. Imagine Tottenham didn't create any chances in the first half but they won the game.

However, the Premier League side is their problem this season, it is a disgrace to be a Man United fan right now, I have switched to another club because this team has let me down so many times this season. Can you imagine that Tottenham did not make any noise on the internet before the final? Their players were really silent since you can never judge when you have never played.  Unbeaten from the beginning and lost the final, it can only be Manchester United.

You are right to say Tottenham Hotspur needed the trophy more than Manchester United did. Just imagine the level of dedication, diligence and tenacity those Spur boys gave on the pitch. Vicario's save in the second half tells how much those boys needed that trophy. He never took one single time to think twice about what could happen to him taking such lift off the ground to stop that ball from getting behind their net. In this context, my definition of a better side is directed on who won the game at the end of the full-time. It's not about playing and wasting chances but about making the best out of the limited goal opportunity you had in the game. Manchester United wasted it all while Spurs had to convert the only chance they had on goal. So me saying Tottenham was the better side doesn't in anyway makes my thought bias except that you're a Manchester United fan who's just pissed off that his club lost at a final they would have used to qualify as gateway to the UCL next season.

A bit strange to see Shakhtar playing in this round, usually they were playing in Champions or Europa lague without qualifcation.
And maybe we have Serbian football experts? Can you tell why Partizan is clear underdog against AEK Larnaca. Because it looks strange for me, AEK doesn't looks like powerhouse. Or Partizan is just such weak.
