Putting aside about the reality that Tottenham had for a long time won a trophy, Manchester right from the begining has not been encouraging in this league, why is because they already assumed to be the one to take the final and win it, which is something no can personally termed as overconfidence and I think that same mentality of Tottenham cannot beat us was part of the reasons why they were defeated woefully last night.

AEK Larnaca football team played very well against Partizan football team. That team were dominant in this match because their possession percentage was brilliant in this match. Only 1 person did goal in this match and that was from AEK Larnaca  team . It's too bad that they are suffering so much from the conditions in Ukraine. Usually they have been a considerable opponent in the group stages of the Champions League. This was my thought also since seeing they were demoted, and also seeing Crystal Palace still stays strong in EPL, the decisions can still be appealed since there's a valid concern here that necessitates Lyon to be the team demoted to conference league instead of Crystal Palace. The UEFA rules states that European competition qualification is based on domestic league performance. They prioritize the club that finishes higher in their domestic league. Same thing, or at least a similar thing, happened with Lyon. The owner put his shares in a trust somewhere else, so in theory Lyon should be able to get considered not his anymore. If City and Girona could, for the same thing, then we should be considered Lyon and Palace situation the same thing as well.

However, obviously they are not as big as City so they are not getting it done, people don't care about Europa league or Lyon or palace, so even if UEFA made a "bad" decision, the backlash won't be that big and Palace would be hurt and only Palace fans would dislike the decision. It's the rules set by the authorities of the game, it's not the fault of anyone and in this case you can't blame either of Lyon or Crystal Palace. I don't think that Crystal Palace legal team will achieve anything from this case because they connected to the rules of the game.

You are very correct, Manchester united faced tougher opponents when compared to Tottenham in the just concluded UEFA Europa League competition, Manchester united played unbeaten in their group stage.

If you watch that final between Tottenham and Manchester United thoroughly, you will notice that Manchester United had more ball possession and were more aggressive than Tottenham, Tottenham were just fortunate enough to have had that goal and they defended it to the last. The odds as at then were in favor of Manchester united, but football being the game that it is, it mostly unpredictable and that is what happened.

I can still remember how good Shakhtar Donetsk used to be in the UEFA Champions League competition, and I totally agree with you that they are supposed to be playing in the UEFA Champions League competition, but now they are playing UEFA Europa League qualification to get a chance of playing in the next season's UEFA Europa League competition, which they aren't even supposed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League competition by playing UEFA Europa League qualification, but the bad situation they find themselves in keeps them in this condition.
